Author's Notes: Poor Sora. >.> I wrote this at school, so it's probably not my best. This is a companion piece to Oathkeeper.
Sora's heart was broken. Love had wounded him. It was as though he had shoved his keyblade into his breast all over again.
He gasped. He no longer felt heartsick and wanting. He felt crushed. How could she choose someone over him? It wasn't that shocking, he hadn't been there for her for over a year. But how? Was there something wrong with him? Something wrong that made her choose someone else?
"Kairi--" He reached out for her.
"I'm sorry, Sora..." She shuffled her feet and fidgetted with the hem of her dress.
"But Kairi!" Sora's voice broke. "I came back for you! I kept my promise."
"I know, Sora. And I kept mine. I waited for you. That was my promise."
"Then how could you do this?"
Kairi had then burst into tears and run off the beach. Sora cursed his impulsive nature but still wondered.
