Doctor Who Watch-a-Thon : Season Seven

Spearhead from Space
Oh my word! IT'S IN COLOUR!

The Institute of Space Studies is in Baltimore.

HAHAHA PAGERS/BEEPERS!

The pink and sticky blood?

Different cardiovascular system! Two hearts (but they haven't explicitly said that yet).

Wah! They shot the Doctor! Who just managed to escape capture in a wheel chair! This Doctor's awesome.

Haha, the Doctor's literally brain dead. No brain activity at ALL.

Shirtless Doctor! With a tanline! Stealing clothes from the hospital!

HAHA, he looks like a Musketeer!

Technically, all this stuff is "Reserved for Doctors."

The Auton's running around with its gun-hand out! :)

He just put something in his mouth. A... pen? Pencil!

UN HEADQUARTERS IN GENEVA!

The plastics in the museum are moving! Probably because they're people pretending to be plastic because that's cheaper than making REALLY COOL plastic models.

I wasn't paying attention and now mannequins are coming to life and killing people! T_T

I wasn't paying attention and now it's over. Okay!

Doctor Who and the Silurians
The Brig just called the Doctor "Doctor Watson." :D

Not much to talk about this serial. So far, anyway. I'm starving.

This is the first female companion (besides Barbara) who the Doctor sees as more of an equal and less of a little girl he needs to look after. Probably because they're not travelling anywhere. But still. He flirts with Liz. XD

That noise is really annoying and high-pitched and awful.

The Silurian era?

Apparently these are colourized episodes. They were filmed in colour but those were erased. They had black and white copies, though. Interesting.

OH MY GOD! Whose idea was it to use that horrible sound effect?! WHO WOULD MAKE SUCH A HORRIBLE SOUND EFFECT?!!! AUUUUUGH MY EARS!!!

This is EXACTLY the same plot as the Hungry Earth/Cold Blood episode arc from Series Five. Humans investigating under the Earth, Silurians waking up from hibernation, the Doctor telling both sides they can live together (the Silurians in the desert), etc etc. I can't believe they just reused a story like that.

Doctor! Touching the fronts of glass slides with your fingers! How are they supposed to look at anything with your fingerprints all over it! Assuming he's got fingerprints. Yes, we get it, he's got a different physiology.

"You can't exterminate a whole species!" Oh, Doctor. Before you've exterminated your own species. <3

Brigadier, if the telephones weren't working, why would you think the elevators would be working?

Fusing the control of the neutron flow? I thought you were supposed to reverse the polarity? Can't wait for you to start saying that. xD

What's this? Angry about genocide? Aww, Doctor. <3

Whoever did the music for this serial should be shot. It's awful. The horns are just terrible.

The Ambassadors of Death
Liz just technically travelled through time, although not IN the TARDIS.

I don't know what's going on. Stuff.

Who's Liz running from? I really don't know what's going on.

Hahaha! "This Doctor fellow must have nine lives."

Is this dude's name Reegan or Reagan? One guy's been pronouncing it both ways.

That was boring. And the ending was much like the older ones, where the Doctor leaves the natives to clean up and he saunters off. :D

Inferno
He just used the sonic to open a gate! :)

Liz is sort of in the TARDIS. She's at the console but not inside the box. T_T Wiki says she never travels in the TARDIS.

Sir Gold looks VERY familiar but I can't place him. And wikipedia isn't very helpful.

They're drilling and they've hit 20 miles. Sounds like they might wake up the Silurians. HaHaHa. Not.

He used his sonic to open a door for Liz.

Now he's vworped off somewhere with his car!

Oh no, a parallel world!

I just noticed the alt!Brig doesn't have a mustache.

I haven't been paying attention. But he's not using his sonic and Liz isn't travelling in the TARDIS so I'm not too bothered.

Wait, so now Liz has a sonic? Oh, my bad, a "door handle."

I'm not paying attention.

Oh, the Doctor just said he has two hearts.

Yay, hugging!
