WEEEEEEEE FANGIRL TIMEZ!

Remember back in May of 2007 when I posted that Matt told me that "the dude who plays someone on Lost" shopped at Wegman's (which is in my neighbourhood)? If you don't, here's my post. I asked Matt if he was sure it was him, if he had a photo, but Matt just said one of his co-workers told him that HE saw him shopping there.

Well... guess what?

I love working at Lowe's. Like, seriously, LOVE it.

Terry O'Quinn was in Lowe's today.

WHILE I WAS THERE.

I was on self-checkout, helping people when they have problems with their credit cards and scanning issues and such, when I saw the back of Locke's head. At least, that's where my brain immediately went. XD And then I hoped he would turn around, so that I could see if it was him or not. His wife was looking for the fastest way to get out of the store, since it was busy and the lines were long-ish and ... yeah. So they turn around and walk towards self-checkout, and they start checking out at register 7. Under my breath I say "oh... my... god!" and then, of course, someone ELSE needs my help. So I go help her (she just needed to swipe her card again, and then put in the last four digits of her card... blah blah). I gave her her receipt and told her about the coupon at the bottom and looked around to see if anyone else was having trouble. I looked at register 7 and saw that the signature pad was having issues, and I thanked the retail devil and went over. My face was SO HOT. Really, I felt it burning. I told them "sometimes the machine gets a little bit stupid. Credit?" And then I guided them through the whole thing (swiping, putting in the last four digits of the card, signing, pressing done). While Terry was doing that, I got a chance to glance at his wallet (he was holding it out in front of him) and I saw the top of a Hawai'i driver's license. Which pretty much confirmed it for me. My brain sort of went "DUUUUURRRRRHRHHHHHH" (like I'm sure boys' brains do when they see a pretty girl) XD and honestly, I'm surprised I got through the rest of it. He took his receipt and I told him about the coupon at the bottom (spend $50 in one trip at Lowe's before the 14th and save $10 with the coupon) and he said thanks. I said "thank you! Have a nice day and please come back!" to which he responded "thanks..." (then he looked at my name tag) "... Grace! You too." And left.

O_O *fans herself*

He was wearing a dark-coloured t-shirt and shorts. Or maybe it was pants. I can't remember. But it was very Locke-esque.

I wanted to say something, anything, but I couldn't remember his real name. And it would have been SUPER embarrassing for me to ask him for an autograph, because I didn't have any paper on me, so he would have had to sign a tissue...? Ew. I wanted to say something about loving Lost, and wanted to know why he was DEAD at the end of season four and going under an assumed name but, really, would he even really know that? I mean, only the people involved in the filming of that scene even knew what was going on in that scene, not the background of it or anything! Only the writers would know. But, still. :D I also wanted to tell him I despise his character but I love the way he portrays him, so it's all good. XD

So... that was around 4.30, 4.45, because I went on break around 5 and IMMEDIATELY called Lynsey, because I could not, for the life of me, remember his real name. I just kept thinking "I JUST SPOKE WITH JOHN LOCKE I JUST SPOKE WITH JOHN LOCKE I STOOD NEXT TO HIM WE LOOKED IN EACH OTHERS EYES OH MY GOD LYNSEY WON'T BELIEVE THIS OH MY GOD!" so there really was no way I could have ever remembered his name. XD

So, um, yeah. ^_^ Lynsey got to post about it before I even got back from break, so... XD Lynsey thinks Terry might have been sad that no one recognized him. Aw man, how awesome would it have been if I had a The Numbers shirt and was wearing that?! SWEET.

YAY LOCKE! <3 <3 <3 <3

This entry deserves my Jirachi spaz n'yah jealous? icon. ^_^

And I don't care if this takes up half of your friendslist. It's important. ^_^
