Stipulations

Stipulations.

To go back to school in the fall, I must:
- Obtain and keep a job for the remainder of the summer.
- Keep going and talking to Kim to figure out what went wrong this past semester.
- Promise to keep in regular contact with teachers and my adviser (which I was planning on doing anyway)

why is adviser spelled with an er instead of an or? I spell it wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME!

To have Bryan come over for a week (starting June 13th), I must:
- Obtain and keep a job for the remainder of the summer.

So... it seems like I know what I should do. Obviously, I have to get a job. The hard part is GETTING a job.

I went to Michael's on Saturday (in the pouring rain) to talk to and meet a manager (Kevin). He told me he'd look at my application and call me within the week. I stressed that I needed a job ASAP and that I would love to work at Michael's because I love crafts. ^-^

I lulled around the house all day Sunday playing Maple Story.

Monday (yesterday), I went to talk with Dr. Lehman and he agrees with Kim about changing my meds because I'm in a good mood but I'm tired all of the time. O_o So, one Zoloft instead of one and one half, and two Wellbutrin instead of one. Hopefully that will work. I go back to see him in three weeks because it takes a while for meds to work.

Then I play more Maple Story and hang out with Colleen and Doodle and go to the pool and stuff. I talk to Mommy and she says Bryan can come over if I get a job. Mommy said she would call him, but she didn't, so I had to break the bad news to him. Bryan needs to know ASAP if he CAN come over, to buy the plane ticket, because each day he doesn't know, the prices go up. T_T

Bryan bought TWEWY yesterday. Yay, someone to (eventually) play Tin Pin with. =]

Today, I got a call from Michael's. Colleen had work today, so she talked to Kevin and stressed that I hadn't received a call back yet and I really needed a job and Kevin said to her that they were hiring. So. I needed to come in and fill out an opinion survey and authorize a background check. I assumed they had forgotten to give me that, but there was another girl there who needed to take it too. She forgot the name of the person who called her, though, whereas I was like "Kevin called me to come in..." I rule. Took the survey, signed the form, left to talk to Kim. Updated Kim on everything. Drove to the cleaners next to the Upper Cut (where I get my hair cut when Mommy's paying) and asked about applying. Logan (my hair cutter's son) was like "Cynthia's my mom" and I went "omg you look like you're 25" "I'm 17" "wow." He couldn't find the application so he called his boss (who was at home or something?) and told me that apparently they weren't hiring anymore. How hysterical is that? My BACKUP job wasn't hiring anymore. And Cynthia just told Mommy they were hiring last week! >_> I should have probably stressed that I know how to sew and can do alterations... Oh well.

So now I'm home. I saw Miss Bev on the way home (well, once I backed into the driveway) and told her I put her as a reference on my application to Borders... she was like "okay! yay!"

>_> Home alone. With Scarlett. It's about to rain; I don't want to run around the house and close all of the windows.

Where else can I work? I know of all these places I could work, but I don't WANT to work there. I picked up "For Rent!" and "Employment Guide!" flyers at Shopper's Food Mart (because we needed milk) and plan on looking in them. A job for me and a cheap apartment for Bryan.

Le sigh.

I have to ask Colleen if she had to come in and take the survey too. And if she's happy with how many hours she has. And such.
