morning rant
I could have slept all day again today. Not that I did yesterday, but I could have yesterday too. I guess I didn't do much anyway yesterday, and probably won't do much today.
...Gotta start somewhere.
My apartment is so comfortable now (in the winter) I love having the heater on. I think that's why I don't want to get up. The dim blue light and the 'click-click-click' of the baseboard heat in this old place. Yeah, I wouldn't mind sleeping all day.
It would sure beat the drive and then the three block walk in the cold. I'm wearing long-johns under my dress pants. I wonder how many people do that.
I do like that there's no dress code though....and that I get home shortly after five o'clock...and that I have weekends off... I feel like I'm on vacation comparatively...shouldn't complain.
I smell like vacation today. I got this perfume before I went on a vacation and haven't worn it since I got back. I'm not sure that I like that. I've not had good luck with vacations... visits are more fun than vacations.
Let's run away...flip a coin, north or south? We'll stop at run down dive bars in tiny little towns and sing in the streets. I'll hope it snows. You'll hope it won't. We'll just keep going until we stop, just because.
