To anyone who does not believe in climate change, I submit the following: it has been snowing in Los Angeles, and raining in Cambridge. L.A. should NOT be colder than England.

weather, cambridge

Yipes. Yeah, be ready for anything, because anything's going to happen.

When I saw the pics of LA, it looked like my city, except for the palm trees. We had a ton of snow too. It's just normal for us.

Crazypants!
Didn't get run over by Professor Hawking while you were there? I hear he drives that chair like a maniac... ;D

I just hope that, now that we've gotten about half the normal annual rainfall, the tap doesn't turn off and leave us dry yet again.

I've been coming to Cambridge on and off for 17 years, and have yet to catch sight of Stephen Hawking.

That said, I just asked the three other people in the room (two of whom live here; all three went to university here), and they all have.

I just booked a room for CoCo, Thursday to Monday. Are those dates good for you? I'm guessing you'd do fewer nights rather than more, since you're local-ish.

Thank you! I just read the CGW ML thread on the (un)availability of rooms and was worried and going to e-mail you, asking. ^_^ Those dates are indeed good for me. I'm not sure on Thursday night, but I probably won't be staying Sunday. That said, I'm entirely able to haul the infant around and provide transport to/from the fabric district for shopping on Monday.... ^_^
