I have a low-grade mental hunt on for lots of the G1 altmodes and when I spot them I generally notice how angular 1980s vehicles are compared to current vehicle designs... and also compared to what we see of Cybertronian (non-Terran) altmodes. This grew out of that.

Lovely job, m'dear. And the first I think I've seen where it's touched upon (having diffrent shapes that just didn't look/feel-quite-right).

I really loved this. You had me at the first line--it's so Jazz, and I enjoy seeing writers utilize slang because, let's face it, Jazz is one happening 'bot.

This piece is so bittersweet and very easy to relate to in some ways (I know I have days when I look into the mirror and don't feel quite right). I really enjoyed reading this. Thanks for sharing. :)

wonderfully insightful, sweets. i nevr really thought of their alt modes this way before, with the whole stranger in the mirror concept, but now i don't think i'll ever not be able to think of it again.
