A Weekend in the Life...
Watched yesterday's episode of TFs. Was quite amused that Daniel popped up again from his cameo in the first episode. ^_^;; Really liked how they fit Soundwave into this universe. Was also amused that he (espousing logic) and Prowl (the character traditionally associated with logic) have the same voice actor. Of course, I am also perpetually amused that G1 Prowl and G1 Sideswipe have the same voice actor, so it may just be that I am a cheap date and perpetually amused.
Last night Wonderful Husband and I got dressed up nicely, went out to a nice restaurant for dinner, then went to the Performing Arts Center and watched/listened to Joshua Bell perform. I'm quite sure I don't yet have the breadth, depth, or even vocabulary to appreciate his talent and skill, but even an ignoramus like me could tell he was quite good. We hung around for a little bit afterward, bought one of his CDs, and he signed it. ^_^
Today was lower-key, involved in not only reclaiming the house, but the yard as well. Tossed two unused pots after both of them crumbled to pieces in my hands. Also got rid of the low table that had been in the corner of the patio holding an (unused) water fountain. I felt vaguely guilty about tossing the table... until one of the legs fell off in my hand on the way to the dumpster. I felt significantly less guilty about it after that. ^_^;; I need to decide what to do with the fountain if it still works. I'd take it into work and put it on my desk (soothing sound of trickling water = good), except for the distinct lack of available desk space. But in any case the patio looks much better, cleaner, and even bigger now that it's been rearranged.
