Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year! 新年快乐!
Well, true to the resolutions I've made earlier, I have been procrastinating less though unfortunately, not in the current school stuff. >_> I've revived
all three of the
sites that I had earlier, so that's a start!
As for the weight loss department, it's been a struggle to get motivated just because it's so damn cold outside and nobody else I know has a gym membership to go with me. D: I've been walking to and from school a lot more often since October so at least there's some exercise thrown in there. When the weather gets warmer, I'll make it a habit to walk both ways so I'll at least get an hour of exercise everyday. I should probably throw in some pushups and situps in my room too, lol.
In terms of happiness, I've been getting better this past month. In fact, the last thing I need right now is to worry about my love life considering how much time and energy it takes up only to end up being upset in the end. So pushing that aside, I've been distracting myself with school, the site, future plans, and the company of the awesome people I know. I've also been job searching. I'm trying to find something related to graphic design but it's hard when you don't have any formal education and the piece of paper to prove it. Maybe I can find an internship or something.
Uhhh, what else. My birthday was on Monday! So I'm 23 now. How that even happened, I have no idea.
As a gift for myself, I finally went out the next day and got my helix-helix industrial piercing (that I was supposed to get last year but just kept putting it off, haha).
I won't lie, it did hurt when I was getting it. The second round is worse because the blood has already rushed to your ear after the first piercing. They also use a large gauge hollow needle in order to insert the barbell in so you're technically getting pierced with a needle that's thicker than 14g/1.6mm. >>; It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be though.
Maybe my lack of nerves had something to do with it because I wasn't the least bit nervous going into it (which was weird because I was pretty nervous about getting my 2nd lobe piercings x_x;). Also, industrials are apparently one of the most annoying piercings to heal so I'll have to be careful for the next several months, if not the whole year. Don't want to risk an infection in the cartilage, ewww. D:
