Just a couple things before I head to bed:
1) I've found some jobs that caught my eye on OSCAR that I think I'll try applying for. Most of them are for Mac's Summer Work program and the info keeps telling me that I need to be eligible for the program. And to go to the Financial Aid site. But it's down...?! OTL If I don't end up staying in Hamilton during the summer though, I'm hoping to find someone I can sublet my room to. I really, really don't want a stranger living in my room, using my furniture while I'm not there.
2) Probably not going to apply for that job in Japan. It sounds great but... the return ticket alone will cost me a month's worth of pay. Speaking of which, pay is very low. $1100/month, which seems fine, but if you break it down, it's like... $4.50/hour. And that's only if it's a 8-hour shift. D: Plus, it's in a rural area and you won't get many days off so... there's not much to do when you have free time. You don't have enough time to go to major cities to do any exploring, etc. :( Food is also no longer included so you have to pay for your own meals too. Rural area also means no Internetttt, sob, so I can't even contact my family for free.
3) I didn't manage to get a t-shirt. D: EH and the staff have been working constantly to get the International Orders and stuff working but... yeah. They still haven't released the orange version yet though so... maybe there's hope? Also, the MTS book-album is supposed to actually cost around $14.50 USD since you're supposed to be paying the equivalent exchange in Korean won. It still shows up as $19.50 USD on the site though. Maybe I'll just wait until they fix all the bugs, heh... esp. since shipping costs an arm and a leg.
4) Went to Bean Bar w/ MG and Karaage today for the first time (to get real food). Place wasn't that bad. Really dark, really noisy, really crowded, but the food was good and our waitress was nice. Food is expensive for the portions they give though. :/ Will probably end up going there again once or twice with friends but... yeah. You don't get much for what you pay.
5) I can't believe it's almost April already. It was just the beginning of March just a while ago! The weather isn't improving fast enough. >:/ Ah, just thinking about this is making me feel rushed.
6) I have 2 papers due this week. I... haven't done much. I hope I don't die.
7) I want white canvas sneakers so I can draw and paint on them. Ahhh, where did The King get those cheap white Converses again...?
8) I still don't know what to get for little Michelle's birthday. We don't know if she wants to celebrate or do anything in general. Come to think of it, we haven't really hung out in a long time. :(
9) I've been playing Sims 2. Aughhh, so addictive and so MINDLESS. At least AoE had strategy... but this...?!
10) Most of you probably know but the power went out for about half an hour today. I was playing Sims and then... yeah. Suddenly felt so free without being tied down to my laptop or the TV, etc. Called MG and she was with Karaage, heading towards Bean Bar. I didn't think they'd be serving customers since the power was out but I decided to join them anyway since I haven't been out all day. They weren't accepting customers so we walked back home in the nice, breezy weather, was gonna play some cards or Munchkin and then we realized... the power's back on. OTL We were ACTUALLY disappointed.
Ahhh, so much for just a couple of things. I'm sure there's more I wanted to post but I gotta wake up relatively early tomorrow.
