I've decided to post this up on LJ instead of Facebook just to keep it a little more private. :x
1. Once you have been tagged you have to write down 16 things you want people to know about you, habits, likes, disikes, goals etc
2. Then you must tag 16 people one of which should be the person that tagged you.
3. If you were tagged it is because I want to know more about you.

1. My life is full of various nicknames (luckily, more pleasant ones than not). This was especially true during high school with the Loser Brigade Lunch Club, which is what we called our little group of nerdy friends. 8D My nickname was Banana Shoe (based on a gag secret santa gift that The King and Sergio made, which involved one big smelly shoe wrapped in yellow duct tape w/ banana marshmallows glued to it). I was also called The Shoe, Kaiser Shoe, Shoebert, Shrubbert, and one which was supposedly my secret identity, haha. Aside from my online alias (Sakomi, Saky, Sako), I've also been addressed as Annie, Hachi, and now, Nana and Sukiyaki. I'm pretty sure there's a few more that I've missed somewhere. >>;
2. When my little sister was born, I was so incredibly happy to have a sibling who would call me older sister (家姐) but she never ever did. T_T She only addresses me by my name, lol. I did address her as 妹妹 at one point but that wore off somewhere along the way.
3. I used to be on sports teams. OTL Of course, this was like... before high school. I mainly participated in volleyball and soccer (and we've won championships!) and it was fun! Unfortunately, I was never very good at sports in general so I gave up after not making the volleyball team in high school (but seriously, who can blame me? I went to a jock school with a special program for exceptional athletes). I did join the badminton club while I was there though. ;o I still can't smash but... whatever. :D
4. When I saw the first episode of Sailor Moon on YTV when I was in like... grade 2, I thought it was the greatest show ever. OTL
5. I've started playing the piano when I was 9 years old after expressing interest to my mom whenever we passed by one of the Ontario Conservatory branches that was located in a mall near my house. I transferred over to the Royal Conservatory in grade 3 piano but I can't remember the reason for doing so. x_X So far, I've finished up to grade 9 practical and stopped lessons from there to save for university. I've bought the grade 10 books with the intention of learning the pieces on my own but... .-.
6. I have an electric guitar that I bought years ago and still don't know how to play. OTL I want to learn so bad, but I don't have the patience or will power to teach myself. T_T
7. The only time I've ever gone to China was when I was 5 years old. I don't remember how long we stayed there but I remember spending my 6th birthday there and receiving a crapload of red envelopes (with yuan that I didn't know how to spend, LOL) from people that I didn't know. I was also introduced to Street Fighter while I was there from my cousin, Huron (or Keita. I still dunno which one to call him), and his friends. I've loved that game ever since, haha.
8. I dunno why, but I had the sudden urge to chop off my hair after I graduated high school. The outcome turned out really, really bad (who remembers that horrible bowl cut?) but ever since then, I've been kinda experimenting to see if I can find a short haircut that suits my face. It's very big and round so it's pretty hard to find one that's flattering. -_- So far, no luck.
9. I went to Chinese school for a pretty long time. Maybe... 6 or 7 years? I LEARNED NOTHING LOL. I'm serious. I think I'm learning more Chinese while learning Japanese than while I was in Chinese school. OTL
10. The only relationship I've ever been in (though I really don't want to admit to myself that that was my first relationship -_-) lasted for like... a month and a half, LOL. This was in grade 9 and no, it wasn't anyone from my high school. Honestly, it really wasn't much of a relationship so I don't even know if I could call it that, lol.
11. I want to become a web/graphic designer. It's an interest and hobby I've been pursuing since grade 7 but I've been lacking a lot of motivation in the past few years. ._.
12. For some reason, I have this ridiculous affinity for Japanese and Korean boybands. It's like a guilty pleasure or something. 8D
13. My Cantonese is very, very bad. I can communicate okay if I'm speaking in my family's village dialect but I'm pretty bad at speaking standard. It did improve a lot this past summer though after having to work so many shifts with Cantonese-speaking people, haha. I can't speak Mandarin though. Nor can I understand it when I hear it.
14. For some reason, a lot of people assume that I wasn't born in Canada.
15. I've always been a chubby kid. (Okay, seriously, I'm running out of things to put down.)
16. I was never a popular kid. I was especially losery in primary and middle school, haha. Well, I was also a very losery kid in high school (thus, our group being called Loser Brigade Lunch Club) but I started embracing that geeky/nerdy/awkward/socially-inept side of me in high school, haha. Being in the enriched program helped. ♥
Erm, space_garden has already done a similar meme, and since d00n, its_a_melon, sweet_gable, and mattchc have already been tagged, I'll tag londaily and cecilia_weasley. The rest of my f-list isn't very active so... x_X
