He Just Can't Do It
Why is it so hard for some people to understand that some jobs require special tools in order to get it done?
It kills me to see my husband working his ass off to get something completed that he knows is going to look like crap when he is done with it because he doesn't have the right tools for the job. I mean if someone lacks the ability, not their lack of want, but the actual ability to get something done, shouldn't that be enough of a reason for it to not be done. And what really get's me is the fact that our first sergeant thinks that just because he said it needs to be done it will get done.
To top it all off he only has 10 days to get it all drawn, cut out of metal and wood, and assembled for this NCO induction ceremony and Sergeant Major said that it doesn't matter how long it takes him, he wants it done. "Don't think about it as 10 days but 500 man hours." is what he really said. That equates to 1) no days off, 2) no sleep, 3) nothing but work!
I feel bad for him but there is nothing that i can do.
