It didn’t take much to put Jazz in a chipper mood. It could have been a new song added to his collection, perhaps a good conversation with a friend, or a simple though that may have occurred to him. So, it was no surprise to see him practically bouncing down the halls of the Ark, visor bright, a huge grin stretched across his features. Two days ago, he’d returned from a too-long espionage mission only to be stuck on monitor duty, then outer patrol duty, followed a mountain of paper work, all of which was done non-stop with only necessary recharge breaks in between. So why, after that long period of uninterrupted working, was he so happy? Well he was off duty now. “Oh Perceptor~!” Jazz called, peeking his head through the doorway of the Ark’s lab. The red and teal mech, who had been diligently at work on something or other, jumped, startled at the voice. “J-Jazz?” Perceptor stuttered, turning around to peer at the other mech in surprise. “You’re back!” “Been back for two days sweetie, but Prowl dumped a ton of work on me.” The special ops mech said, grinning as he approached his partner.”I’m free now though…” Perceptor shuttered his optics in surprise. “W-Well that’s wonderful! I’m so relieved you’re here, but….” “But you’re still working?” Jazz finished for him, smirking. “Well… Yes.” Jazz responded by grabbing the microscope’s wrist and pulling him away from the table. “Not anymore, I’m your work now, got it?” “But I can’t just leave, this is all very important-“ “And can wait till tomorrow.” Jazz finished for him, visor flaring in excitement. “Now come on, I’m taking you dancing with me.”
