Another OC Profile Dump

Okay, these were fun because they were my very first OCs. 8D

They also all come with an intertwined background~~~
*glee*

Name: Searchlight

Age: Barely Pre-War

Faction: Autobots

Root Mode: While a reference drawing has been made, it is still being cleaned and is unavaiable.
He is rather tall for his basic size. His chest is made up of the windshielf of his alt mode, in a manner similiar to G1 Ratchet and Ironhide. His energency lights lie on his shoulders and his main searchlight is placed just in the base of his neck.
His face is young looking, despite his age. He has a blast/welding mask that hangs from each side of his head. It flips down and covers his entire face, optics and all, when it is down.
He is silver with the occasional red streak.

Alternate Mode: Volkswagon SAR (Search and Rescue) Concept Truck

Rank/Class: Medic

Personality: Searchlight is the opposite of what most medics are, which is most certainly NOT a good thing. In fact, most mechs avoid him more than other medics.
He is extremely happy and cheery in a way that is beyond creepy. This is because he never STOPS smiling and never stops being painfully optimistic sounding. Hence, when he tells you that sadly, he must remove your leg, he will do it without an ounce of remoarse in his tone.
Also, he obviously couldn't care less about your personal pain. It he intends to do a painful procedure, like shoving an arm back in it's socket, he will tell you, explain how painful it will be, then perform the act before his patient can object.

History: Searchlight was created prior to the war alongside his brother, Pathfinder. Even then, he'd had an interest in being a medic and began his training, so when the war began, he easily shifted into the role as a field medic.
Due to his age and experience, he is one of the best Autobot medics, although many will fail to admit or acknowledge that just to avoid him.
Strangely, he was not always the overly cheery bot he is today. The reason for his strange personality is because it is a coping mechanism for him.
About half way through the war, Pathfinder was brutally killed in battle. Searchlight discovered his brother's body first, sliced in half and mangled beyond belief.
This, along with the numerous other experiences of war eventually took it's toll on the medic's sanity.
He has found that the only way to keep himself going is to force himself into the cheerful mood he is constantly in. If he were to let himself fall back on any unpleasant emotions, he feels they would consume him.

Other: The only time he has ever been seen without his happy mood, since the end of the war, was when he encountered who he suspects to be his brother's killer: A Decepticon named Bladepitch.

Name: Pathfinder

Age: Barely Pre-War

Faction: Autobots
Root Mode: Dark g
reen in color, a camoflage tone. The majority of the armor on his alt mode ends up as an almost cape-like sheet across his back. Two wheels of his alt mode are attatched to the knees and ankles of his legs. Also, he has a wheel on each shoulder. The front of the tank makes up his chest. Most other physical traits are undecided.

Alternate Mode: TPz Fuchs

Rank/Class: Soldier/Transport

Personality: Despite his large size, Pathfinder is a rather kind mech. He is also rather clumsy and tends to apologize profusely if he causes any type of trouble because of his size. Often, he can be considered as weak in personality as well as he feels no desire to ever stand up for himself for any reason.
In battle though, he is easily able to rid himself of nagging self-doubts and simply does what needs to be done. While many may consider this to be strange, it is simply due to his loyalty as a solider.

History: Pathfinder was built as a transport robot or a "tank" in battle. He can be used to transport weapons, materials, or even Autobots. When in battle during the Great War, he was put on the front-lines due to his thick armor and usually came out of battle uninjured to to this. Sometimes though, he'd be paired with his brother in battle. He has a "Spark Transfer" ability that Searchlight sometimes required in battle.
During his time on the battlefield, he eventually acquired a Decepticon rival who went by the name Bladepitch. The large Decepticon seemed to find him an interesting challenge and on more than one occasion, the two faced off in combat. It was during one of these fights that Pathfinder finally lost his life, at least in a sense.
When Bladepitch finally managed to get a fatal hit on him, slicing through the Autobots spinal column with his powerful blades, Pathfinder knew he was as good as dead.
Without thinking, he clung to his killer and forced his spark into the Decepticons body using his ability. This left his body sparkless and dead, but kept his essence alive within the Con.
Of course, it was only him that came to be in this strange new body. He could remember nothing because all of his memories remained within his broken body. Thus, when he would later awaken, he would give himself the new name of Rotorblade, completely oblvious to his previous life as the Autobot Pathfinder.

Other: He has a strange ability that was granted to him as something to be coupled with his brother's job as a medic. He has extremely powerful and durable wiring. This allows him to actually channel the raw, powerful energy of a spark. This ability can be used to transfer a spark out of a wounded bot and into a holding container until repairs can be made. It also allows him to simply draw the spark out of an enemy and release it from his body, killing the enemy. He refuses to do that though, as he considers it far to cruel. Although, it is with this ability that he saves himself.

Name: Rotorblade/Bladepitch

Age: Unknown/Pre-War

Faction: Autobots/Decepticons

Root Mode: Both share the same powerful, bulky body. While they share the same face, some physical aspects change depending on who is controlling the body at the time. If Rotorblade is in control, he has two antenea on his head that will be angled backward. Also, his face mask will be most likely open and his optics will be blue. If Bladepitch is in control, the antenea are angled forward, the face mask covers his mouth, and his optics are red. His most notable physical aspects are his arms, which each contain a set of three powerful rotor blades. When not in use, they fold up and rest harmlessly across his forearms. The body is a deep grey.

Alternate Mode: V-22 Osprey

Rank/Class: Soldier

Personality (Bladepitch): He is a typical Decepticon. Cold, cruel, and willing to do anything to force his way to the top. He's not the brightest though. He's one of the bots who shoots before thinks. He also finds quite a bit of joy in tormenting other bots as well, whether it be Decepticon or Autobot. He won't do outright pranks, but he's not above tripping someone and walking away cackling. He also enjoys making that "nails-on-a-chalkboard" sound to make everyone cringe. He has no problem with authority though. Put it in an order, and he's on it.

Personality (Rotorblade): Although he's a strong, brawny bot, he tends to apologize a lot. When not in battle, he can be fairly clumsy and trip over himself. So he apologizes for it and everything else, even if something is not his fault. Essentially, he has no self confidence. But, when's he's in battle, it all disappears and he becomes completely able.

History: Originally, it was just Bladepitch in that body. Back on Cybertron, he was a big shot who enjoyed fighting in battles simply to watch Autobots take in there last, dying intake. Often, he would cripple a bot, and then slowly kill them. Unfortunately, one time it went wrong. He had fatally wounded a personal rival of his and had approached the dying Autobot, intending to deliever the fatal blow. Instead, the other bot had sat up and grabbed onto him. Somehow, Rotorblade had managed to export himself into Bladepitch's body. Strangely, Rotorblade remembered nothing. He just woke up inside that body one day and discovered that he wasn't alone. He knew he was an Autobot, but knew nothing about himself. Bladepitch, to this day, refuses to tell him what little he does know about his unwelcome body-sharer.
So now, once every few days, one of them switches and takes control, the other one going into a forced stasis nap within the body. It became routine to have Bladepitch randomly start firing on the Autobots from within their own lines or to chase Rotorblade out of the Decepticon base as he shouted apologies. Both sides put up with the strange mechs for their own reasons. For the Decepticons, it was because he was extremely strong and remained a loyal soldier. For the Autobots, it was because Rotorblade was willing to come to them and join them.

Other: Neither bot can see inside the others head without the other's permission. So all Autobot and Decepticon secrets are safe with each side. Although they often argue inside their head, making it seem like they're staring into space. Also, the changes occur randomly, but usually once every few days, though it could also happen in a few minutes.

Notably, I'm a bit iffy on Pathfinder's "spark transfer" ability simply because I'm not sure if it's technically possible... But that's how I originally designed him. XD
Notably, Bladepitch and Rotorblade are in fact my FIRST OC.... OCs? 8D

And I think I love Bladepitch more cause he's such a derp dumbass.

random, oc
