OHMYGODGUYS.
Okay, so Ironhide 3 is out and I am here to deliver spoilers, news, and random shots of the comic.
OKAY.
So Ironhide wanders into this shiney pretty building following that random bot from the last issue.
There, he meets Alpha Trion.
Whom Ironhide continual tells him, he has NEVER heard of him, while Alpha Trion is very PO'd about this fact essentially saying "HOW do you not know me?! I'M FREAKING ALPHA TRION!"
So they proceed to talk about how Ironhide has been revived when Ironhide looks on a screen and sees a familiar energy signature from another Autobot on planet.
Alpha Trion says he is unimportant, then Ironhide proceeds to tell him to shut up and he runs out to go save the Autobot.
SO. He comes to a bridge.
And jumps down onto a pile of dead swarm.
And digs through them.
And finds Sunstreaker.
Who is still alive.
After four years.
*HAS A MAJOR HAPPY*
Wow self. Good time to write a story about Sunstreaker returning to Primus.
So yeah, Pell and I just CRIED AND SQUEED over this.
So then Sunny proceeds to be all broken and sad, but he actually talks some.
In broken sentances of course.
Mostly, he continually apologies about what he did, how much he regrets it, yadda yadda.
Which is funny because Ironhide doesn't remember any of it so he's just like "WHATEVS BUDDY PAL." And then they run and Hide kicks the crap out of the swarm.
The rest of the comic was Sunstreaker mumbled apologies until they got back to Alpha Trion, whom insists Sunny is NOT part of his plan and is unworthy of Ironhide's effort.
Hide proceeds to tell him to shut up and FIX him while Sunny is suddenly massively afraid that Aplha Trion will perform "final judgement" on him.
Then Trion kinda... knocks Sunny out and explains what has happened to Ironhide since the last thing he remembers.
Then he tells him his purpose, which is to "be a bug exterminator" as Hide puts it.
So, he has to go around Cybertron and slaughter to swarm basically. 8D
