Part 2
Ayu hugged her mom and waved.
“I’ll do my best, mom!” She smiled.
Aya smiled and waved back to her little darling. As she walked through the corridors of the school, a familiar face stopped in front of her.
“Hi, Mrs. Takaki.” Kato-sensei worded that surprised Aya. Her tone was different today, it’s like something made her feel bad or something is irritating her.
Aya just smiled back naturally, “Hi, good day sensei. How are you?”
Kato-sensei just looked at her, like trying to learn something from her and finally smiled.
“That’s why he liked you.” She murmured, “I’m sorry?” Aya thought she heard something but Kato just shook her head and bid her farewell.
As Aya walked out from the school, the teacher watched her every movement and rolled her eyes.
“You’ll cry. Someday.” And walked away.
A shiver ran through Aya’s spine, she felt uneasiness and just ignored it. She sat down and drove back to their home. While she was driving, her phone rang. Seeing that Takaki was the one who was calling she picked it up and answered it.
“Hi, I’m on my way home. Why did you call?” She asked.
“I’m going home late today. Is that ok? I knew I told you I’d make it up to Rubi right? Can I go today? I’ll surely be home by 8pm.” Takaki sounded so sweetly.
“No worries, I got it. Do what you need to do, but making it up to her doesn’t mean you have to be all sweet and mushy together all right? You got me?” She gave out a slight laugh and heard Takaki laugh.
“You’re my one and only. I love you. I’ll be back ASAP.” Takaki worded.
As Takaki ended the call, somewhat Aya felt that something was going to happen. Hours passed and she picked up Ayu from school, and fed her children. Time was passing by so slowly that it made her worry more. Finally, the doorbell rang.
“Takaki, why are you so late? It’s 9p-“As she opened the door, she saw Takaki and another person. Rubi Kato.
Kato smiled and Aya gave her a not-so-welcoming-face. Aya noticed that Rubi was helping Takaki to stand on his own feet.
“He got drank so much. I’m sorry.” She smiled.
“Leave him, you can go.” Aya sounded so snobbish and held her husband, “Goodnight. You should go home now. It’s late.” And Aya closed the door, she knew it was rude for her to do that but she was just so irritated at this scene that she can’t take anymore sight of it.
The two ended up in their bedroom and as Aya let go of his husband, Takaki grabbed her and pushed her to the bed. Takaki was about to kiss her, when Aya looked the other way.
“I don’t like making out with a strange and alcoholic smelling man.” She sighed.
“Why *hiccup* Are you like that? It’s just a kiss! It’s not like *hiccup* we haven’t *hiccup* done that!” Takaki said irritated.
Aya pushed him away, and a tear fell down from her eyes. Everything he said just broke her. She goes out from the room and decided to sleep at their guest room.
Morning came and everyone woke up, except for Takaki.
A few minutes later, Aya walked into the room and opened up the curtains making the light come in. The light made Takaki moan and opened his eyes slowly. As he sat, he felt a bad headache.
“Good morning.” He said with a husky voice.
Silence replied. Aya walked out from the room without saying anything. Good thing it’s Takaki’s day off. So he can stay at home and rest. He noticed that his wife is ignoring him and something was wrong. He thought of something and tried to remember what happened last night, but no memory was remembered of what happened last night.
He ran downstairs as he finished brushing his teeth and saw his two children eating. He walked to her wife and tried to kiss her on the cheek, but as he was going to, Aya backed away. She put down the plate of bacon on the table and told Ayu and Yuichi to eat.
“Eat. And drink that hot milk. You’ve got a bad headache right.” Those were just the words that made him smile, and he ate.
A couple of minutes later, a school service arrived.
“I’m going mom. I hope you’ll get to send me to school again.” Ayu kissed her mom and hugged her dad.
“It’s just for today, honey. Don’t worry. I’m just a bit ill. I don’t want to go out.” Aya kissed her daughter back.
Hours passed, Takaki still tried talking to his wife but no reply. She just walks away when he tries to talk to her. Takaki felt so irritated.
“You don’t want to talk, ok. Let’s do it my way.” Takaki suddenly carried his wife like a princess that startled Aya.
“What are you doing, put me down! Now!” Aya exclaimed.
“No, not until we talked this out.”
The two ended up on their room and to make sure, Takaki opened the door and shouted.
“Yuichi, just play ok? Mom and dad are going to talk about something important.” He shouted and locked the door.
Aya looked away as Takaki kneeled in front of her.
“Mind telling me what’s wrong?” Takaki asked sweetly.
“You want to know?” Aya glared at the man in front of her, “Ok. I’ll tell you, you think your wife would be happy seeing you helped by one of your ex-es? Yes, she brought you home. And I didn’t know what happened. 2nd thing is, you told me bad things last night. Tell me, did she do anything last night? You tried to kiss me and I didn’t like it. And you started saying things that hurts my feelings. Now tell me, what’s wrong? Not with me, but with you.” She sighed as she let her broken feelings be known.
Takaki’s eyes showed regret and asked for forgiveness.
“We didn’t end up this long in our relationship with saying lies. So I’m going to tell you what happened. Slap me if you want or something, but I don’t want to hide anything from you. Last night, I went with her on a karaoke box. We sang and drink. And as we talked, she cried. I pity her and hugged her, but then she... I think emotionally she needed someone and she started kissing me. I backed away though. I swear nothing happened.” Takaki closed his eyes.
Aya stood from where she is and gone out from the room, Takaki sighed and felt so guilty and full of regrets. He heard a car screeching a few minutes later and looked at the window. He saw that it was one of their cars. He knew something was going to happen. He immediately ran downstairs and was about to run after Aya when Yuichi called out for him.
“Dad, mom said you take care of me.” The kid looked at his father with those innocent eyes.
Takaki got nothing to do but to do what he needs to. He can’t leave the little boy, so he just stayed home.
Meanwhile...
Aya parked her car and got out. She walked fast as she can and entered her school’s daughter. She asked staffs where Rubi Kato was and finally found her. She asked Rubi if they can talk privately, and Kato was kind enough to talk with her.
“You’re still lucky.” Aya started after a minute of silence.
“I’m sorry?” Kato replied hesitating.
“You’re still lucky. I didn’t do anything reckless to make you look like a slut. You know my husband is just making it up to you, because he had hurt you back in your high school days. Although, with that reason, I don’t think its right if you just kiss a man with a wife. Doing that, makes you a slut, no?” Kato gulped, and looked away.
“I thought he wasn’t going to tell you. I’m sorry for doing that, but I want this straight and forward. I thought of hurting you, but I guess Takaki really changed. He backed away and told me he loves you and that he can’t ever hurt you. After that he just drinks all night. You’re lucky enough to make him love you. I didn’t have the chance to feel that from him.” A tear started to come out from her eyes, “I hope you’ll forgive me. Now I know how he treasures you. And that no matter what I do... I can’t just make him cheat on you.” She cried and tried to stop her tears but she was so emotional that she can’t do anything about it.
“Thank you for telling me the truth. I shall go home now.” Aya hugged her and whispered, “I wish we can be friends though.” And smiled.
“We are... Now.” Kato smiled and wiped her tears slowly.
Aya walked away from the scene and ran to their house. She saw Takaki playing with their baby boy. She smiled and ran to the two.
“Baby, can I borrow your dad for an hour?” She smiled.
Yuichi nodded, “Sure mom.” He smiled.
“Just go, and watch your fave movies okay?” Yuichi nodded again.
Aya pulled Takaki by the hand and goes to their room.
“What happe-“ Even before Takaki finished his sentence, a sweet and lovely kiss made him stop.
“I talked to her and she told me everything. I love you.” She smiled.
Takaki smiled and hugged his wife tightly. He kissed her again. Takaki looked at Aya, a looked that’s asking for permission. Somehow, Aya knew about it and nodded.
“Yes. I’m ready. Always and forever.” She replied.
“Always and forever.” Takaki smiled and kissed her on her forehead. And started unbuttoning her shirt.
I guess for them... It won't end. 'Cause their love is just too strong to be ruined by someone. And I'm glad that girl is a soft-hearted one. She can't do it, 'cause the man loves his wife so much. Happy Endings are always just right in the corner waiting. It's up to you people if you're going to choose what's the best for the best. Or choose the other hand.
---END.
ENJOY! :))
