Because then I would not be obliged to attempt to thank you with words that should, but can't possibly, come close to how... you make it so hard not to gush.... really, do you need a personal slave?
The electricity in the air between characters. The build-up. Every word, simply brilliant.
So glad this was recced on shortstory today.

I have to make clear what a treat it is to find comments when I open LJ and yours are a particularly lovely way to start the day! Please know that I appreciate the effort!
I very much enjoyed writing this crossover and have rather a soft spot in my heart for Dr Volker. There used to be a YouTube video clip of a scene with Philip and Doug where they're beginning to negotiate the terms of Philip signing on to the project that is so full of subtext that I'm surprised it didn't sink the little submarine! Unfortunately, it seems to have disappeared. It was mostly that which inspired the fic.
Thank you again!

I've just realised I haven't commented on this before... sad to see forgetfulness in one so young *g*
I've never seen the film, but I love the characters as you've written them - all so intelligent, and so much underlying tension and passion between them all. As always, you've left me wanting more! Thank you for sharing it.

I haven't seen the whole film and from what others have said I may have made the characters, especially Maggie, a bit more likeable than the movie did. What I did see in clips, however, piqued my imagination, especially about Philip, and I just had to imagine Napoleon confronted with the two of them (as in your lovely icon)!
On a totally different note, have you seen the season two finale of Sherlock? If yes, what did you think?

You mean you didn't hear me screaming and sobbing like a baby at the end of Sherlock? *hg*
I really enjoyed it (I love the writing, I love the modern day setting and the use of technology, and I adore the way London looks). I'm trying not to read too much of the fix-it fic that's around, because I'm dying to see how they fix it themselves; though by the time we've had to wait a whole year (?) for the next series it probably won't matter much anyway.
How about you? Thumbs up or down? And are you writing fix-it fic, because yours I would certainly read *g* And gosh, isn't it hard to write anything about it without being spoilerish?!
