If anyone asked, Shunsui would claim in sweeping language that his inspiration for bringing out the battered and sake-stained first draft to the sequel to his epic novel The Rose-Coloured Path was, of course, Kūkaku-chan, since they discussed it on radio earlier that week, but, really, it wasn't anything so romantic. He was just loaded up on booze as usual and being in his office made him feel like he was actually be productive by working on supposedly editing it.
Really, all that was coming out of it were more chapters that were really unnecessary, half of which was being read outloud as he went over it, despite the fact that none of it should probably ever be heard by anyone's ears ever...
