Your "Christian Morality" disgusts me.
I feel like one of the few people in this backward country that isn't spouting about my own morality on every fucking issue brought up. I don't care if people are Christian by belief alone, but I am tired of people waving a flag going "I'm Christian which is why I have a right to be an asshole and turn everything into a political issue....FOR THE CHILDREN!!!!!" This whole Terri Schiavo (I probably spelled it wrong-I'll correct it later if so) is making me so angry at not only the religious right trying to keep someone who is virtually dead alive by machines, but the other side saying it's okay. She is not a political issue. None of us know what the fuck she wants and I do so wish everyone would realize that and stop acting like her fucking representative. No, it's not moral to leave her half-dead like she is if she never wanted it. And it's not kind for the other side to act like starving to death with people watching is somehow a painless release. While I do think her husband would know best on what her wishes were (because I am sure how my parents see me and how my significant other would see me are very, very different) it's still not the place of media, congress, or any of you fucking self-righteous assholes to start a crusade over. People should have the option of assisted suicide, fuck this 'It's not right!' shit. It's not right to sit as a fucking vegetable for 15 years nor is it to starve to death in agony. (It can be argued if she'd feel the pain of starving-but survivors who were in a similar situation recall feeling very much alive and in pain). Our government and country as a whole makes me sick and we, as a nation, should be damn ashamed for using this poor woman like this.
On to another rant against the holy-rollers (since the last post was directed at people on both sides of the issue). Fucking GOD you people are annoying. It's as if there is a new trend that makes it okay for us to wipe out oh every bit of scientific evidence just so you aren't offended. Evolution offends you-despite it having a fuck of a lot more evidence than that bullshit you read. The 'liberal bias' on campus offends you-because campuses should certainly be a place where religious morality is put ahead of understanding and a comfortable atmosphere for ALL students (sorry, not just YOU). We should eliminate all regards to the daily bashings of students in high schools, because harassment is okay in your oh so moral mind...as long as it's against gays, non-christians, and other such inferiors. We should completely ignore keeping church out of state business, because the constitution is only 'Kind of' right and what the founding fathers really wanted is a theocracy. The supporters of slaves, woman-hating, slaughterers of natives, and witch hunters were very moral people so we should always use that mindset when interpreting the constitution. And yes, the most fucking stupid argument I have heard you bible waving assholes claim yet is the secret agenda of Spongebob, the Seven Dwarves, and Teletubbies to make our children gay. Since we know Tinky Winky and Spongebob have a lot of orgies over at the cottage in Snow White land; much crystal meth and STD's abound, of course.
