A young teenager on the precipice of adulthood, Jin is someone who has lost faith in his world and harbors a growing disinterest- keeping a constant distance between himself and the world that doesn't even begin to come to a understanding with him. He avoids attachment due to the knowledge of knowing his death date and with it has become cold and initially short-fused and brash. He's a boy without a true meaningful purpose in his mind and seeks only to serve himself as he doesn't have much time to waste on others that will forget him once he's gone.
