My father had to completely snow out on me, since someone called in sick to work, so I was forced to miss my math class for the second week in a row. But whatever - I got to read Loveless.

Aw man, volume 8 of Loveless is seriously like, "OH SNAP." Haha, it's pretty awesome though. Somehow, the art just keeps getting prettier and prettier. AH KIO,

And I love your poem. It's so pretty. And I love the use of the word plunk. Hehe. And I know you want my favorite part, so this is what it is: Maybe it's gold, or violet, or a dark immersing blue
That contrasts breathtakingly against
Those few, freckling clouds.

Oh, but a couple of nitpicking notes. Both about the same line. In the line "These same feelings of contentment/And emptiness remain exactly the same" you probably shouldn't use "same" twice. Repetitive. Also, contentment and emptiness kind of contradict each other. Did you mean to do that?

But, still, lovely poem. (I felt British using the word 'lovely')
