an ADVENTURE (of a sort?)
So I cut my ankle shaving today, right? Let me tell you, I've known a lot of different pains in my life, and not many compare to the absolute, completely overpowering, and sudden sting you get from slicing your leg open, deep and cleanly, with an expensive, high quality razor. Oooh snap.
I mean, ow, right? Not to mention the water constantly pelting it. And the blood, oh man, oh man. Like it just kept going and gushing, and the shower was washing it away, but still there was this really steady stream running down my foot, and like, the whole tub was like all covered in blood the water was bright pink, and oh snap.
So this thing is bleeding for like, ten minutes straight, if not more, and I keep wiping the blood away but it keeps gushing out. (& now my bathroom trash is filled with suspicious bloody tissue that will freak out anyone who goes in there next) I can't even put my pants on, because it won't stop bleeding through the tissue, and I don't have any bandages there. SO EVENTUALLY, I manage to do a strange, leg-tissue, jump into your pants dance (in my tiny bathroom), and I finally manage to get out, with pants on, and it's dripping down my foot and I'm like, yelling at my brother, "GET THE HELLO KITTY BANDAGES!! SHUT UP AND GET THEM!!" even though he has company, who looks pretty freaked out, (also long story as to why he has a box of hello kitty bandages in his room) but yeah, I finally manage to get the bandage on, then had to clean all the dried blood off of me (in front of freaked out company).
BUT YEAH. IT WAS A TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE. shaving legs = not cool... but, excuse to wear a hello kitty bandage = totally epic
In other news, I cleaned my house today like a mad thing, and made a epic great meal, and made the boys cookies, and felt like a mom all around. Also, I got me and everyone in my house addicted to the tv show Bones (by recommendation from siofrafiore and 5 stars from netflix). Holy crap you guys, I am still only on the first season but HOLY CRAP I love this show. ♥ ♥ You have no idea haha YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS SHOW if you haven't already, which I doubt because I'm always the one behind, haha
oh and one of my 'brothers', Damon, left today on an across the country trip, that will span six months. ): I hope he has fun though.
