A pool party... babe in bikini + Changmin = fun.
“Oh shit.” I muttered as I looked at what I was wearing: a purple two-piece bikini. My hands shook. I was clearly nervous.
“Oh why did I say that I’ll go to this stupid pool party?” I asked no one.
“Yah, Rika!” my friend, Hye Shin called. “Would you get out of here?” She said as she came into the room wearing a prettier pink bikini.
“But…”
“No buts. You look fine! Now come on!”
Hye Shin dragged me out. I swallowed as I saw a lot of people stare at me once I got out.
“Omo! Why are they staring?” I asked myself out loud.
“Because you look damn fine!” Hye Shin said to my side.
I shot her a glare. “Yeah, right!” I said.
Hye Shin rolled her eyes. “Fine. Don’t believe me then don’t.”
She started to walk away so I quickly followed her.
“Yah, don’t leave me!
I saw Hye Shin shake her head but I followed anyway, glancing at the pool where a few people were having fun. I wanted to join them but, problem is, I don’t know most of them and the few people I know here aren’t swimming. So I just followed Hye Shin to where my other friends were hanging out.
“Hey Hye Shin!” I heard Jaejoong greet.
“Hey Jae!”
“Who’s that hiding behind you?” he asked and I didn’t move because he was obviously talking about me.
“Aigoo…” Hye Shin said. “Rika, what the hell?”
She moved and dragged me to her side.
“Wow, Rika! Looking good!” I heard Yoochun comment as he blew a whistle.
I blushed. “Yah, stop that.” I said softly.
“Aigoo. Look, guys. Rika’s being shy again. I told her she looked absolutely hot in that bikini but, wouldn’t you know, this girl wouldn’t believe me.” Hye Shin said.
“Aww, Rika, don’t be so modest. You certainly look hot!” Jaejoong said.
“Uh, yeah. Thanks, I guess.” I said shyly. Man! I wish they would stop this. It’s making me feel really uncomfortable.
“Really hot!” Yoochun said. “Isn’t that right, Changmin?”
I looked up (I was looking down because I was really shy) as I heard Changmin’s name. I didn’t notice he was there. I wonder why he didn’t greet me earlier. He usually does that since we’re close and all.
“Uh, yeah.” Changmin said and I noticed he was looking away from me.
“Eh? Yah, Shim Changmin! What’s the matter with you? You suddenly look DIFFERENT?” Jaejoong asked.
I looked at him but he was still looking away from me?
“Changmin-ah?” I asked.
Changmin suddenly stood up and started to walk away.
“Yah, Changmin-ah, where are you going?” Yoochun asked.
“Uh… bathroom.” He said coldly.
“Eh? What’s up with him?” I asked the others. They just shrugged.
#######
It was already dark and Changmin still hasn’t re-appeared in front of me.
“Yoochun-oppa, where’s Changmin-ah?” I asked.
“Molla.” He said. “He was just here a minute ago. He just disappeared when…”
He stopped but I continued his sentence for him.
“When I came along?” I asked. Aigoo. I really had the feeling that Changmin’s been avoiding me. He wouldn’t talk to me or go near me ever since I arrived here at the resort this afternoon.
Yoochun sighed. “I guess that was pretty obvious.” He said, confirming my suspicion.
“Aigoo!” I said, getting annoyed. “Why has he been avoiding me all day and all night? Is he angry at me? What did I do?”
“I’m pretty sure it wasn’t what you DID.” Yoochun said as he looked at me from top to bottom. I shuddered.
“Yah, stop that. You’re giving me the creeps.”
Yoochun chuckled.
“Yah, you really want to see Changmin then go to our room.” Jaejoong said as he came to my right all wet, clearly obvious that he had just been into the pool.
“Fine. Thanks, Jaejoong-oppa!”
I went to the guys’ room and knocked three times. After a minute, the door opened.
“Rika?” Changmin asked, clearly stunned and I noticed he wasn’t looking directly at me again.
“Yah, Changmin-ah!” I said.
“Look, could you come later? I’m, uh, pretty busy.”
He was about to close the door but then I stopped him. I pushed open the door widely and I quickly went in. I then closed the door.
“Yah Changmin-ah!” I said. “Have I done something? Are you mad at me? You’ve been avoiding me all day!”
Changmin seem nervous. He looked around the room but never on me.
“I, uh, I w-wasn’t a-avoiding y-you.” he said, voice shaking.
“Yah! Don’t lie!” I said. Changmin was lying. He’s a bad liar. I can tell.
I became really upset I don’t know what I did to make him like this towards me. I came closer to him. “Yah!” I yelled.
“Y-yah! Don’t come any closer!” he suddenly yelled. I stopped in my tracks. Changmin seemed really angry. I was about to say something when he spoke again. ”M-mianhe…” he said, now looking at me but only once then he gazed back down on the floor. “I didn’t mean to. I, uh, I’m really not angry with you… It’s just that.”
“What?” I asked.
He swallowed nervously. It was then I notice his face was red. Was he… blushing?
Changmin turned around slightly and took a towel off its rack. He then turned back to me and handed it to me, though still looking all around the room.
“Eh?” I said. I looked down and I just remembered I was still in my purple bikini. “Ohh…” I finally said and my cheeks went wild red as I just realize why Changmin was like that. Aish! I’m really slow. I cleared my throat and took the towel. I quickly wrapped it around me to cover myself.
He cleared his throat and he finally went t face me. “M-ianheyo…” he said.
“Uh, it’s okay, I guess.” I just said.
The atmosphere around us was getting awkward so I decided to just go now.
“I’ll be off.” I said softly. I headed to the door and tried to open it but it wouldn’t budge. I tried it again but with no luck.
“Uh, Changmin-ah, the door won’t open.”
Changmin quickly tried to open it but it still wouldn’t open. It seems it was locked on the outside.
A tap on the window got our attention. We looked out of it and saw Yoochun smiling at us. He held out a key and waved it at us.
“Yah!” Changmin said.
Yoochun stuck out his tongue and went off.
“Yah!” Changmin called back but Yoochun didn’t return. He then went back to the door and tried to open it again, with no luck.
I joined in too and tried to open it again. Still, it was hopeless. I turned around and saw Changmin look more and more uncomfortable. Then it dawned on me.
Oh shit! I’m locked in a room all alone with Changmin. Omo!
