She said what now?

I think the reason I don't update LJ often is because I feel like there's so much that I need to write about that I haven't yet and I'm too far behind to ever catch up. I have about a year's worth of events that I meant to write about and just didn't. But I'm thinking that maybe I just need to get over that mentality and just update about whatever ( Read more... )

Ditto. I applied to grad schools for the Fall but am still waiting on decisions. So I'm currently unemployed and have no idea what I'm doing come August.

yay go us!

High five!!

heh..I'm sure you'll be able to find something or be able to go back to school (what were you gonna go to grad school for?)
I think it's hilarious, that I keep sending in a resume for one accounting firm and they keep posting the same job job online month after month...I'm pretty sure they're not calling me because my last name is Wu (why do I say this? I applied with a nearly idential resume under the last name williams (changed some formating) and they at least EMAILED me back then...how brutal is that?)

still climbing?

(times like this I wish I remember my old aim account)

I want to get a PhD in Animal Behavior, but the program is notoriously difficult to get into. I also applied to get a teaching credential for high school science/a masters in education, but that's a backup, really, and I'm not sure if I'm too keen on doing that.

I applied to an undergraduate advising position a while back. I got interviewed, but I was the runner up. The job popped back up several months later and I applied again, and they never got back to me. They hired someone and then the job was posted again 9 months down the line. All I could think when seeing the posting was, "Well if you had just hired me that first time, I'd still be working for you. Sucks to be you, HAHA!"

Still climbing, although not too often. Can't afford the rock climbing gym membership at the moment so all of my climbing consists of me finding awesome rocks while on camping trips. My last trip to Mono Lake we found a new campsite and it had all of these pumice mix rocks. They were way, way too much fun to climb on and I can't wait to go back.
