Random Updates....OF DOOM!!
So, today is
fajra's birthday, yesterday was my birthday, and the day before that was
taru_chan's birthday. Late december is obviously the time when the cool gals are born.
Interesting conversation between Todd and I regarding my birthday presents:
setsunahime: Everything I got was either cow-themed or Nightmare Before Christmas-themed. You would think I have no other interests.
ToddAVZ: oh no... you have other interests
ToddAVZ: like: the color black, globular clusters, telescopes.
setsunahime: lol
setsunahime: I kind of do like globular clusters, don't I?
ToddAVZ: yes. you really do
ToddAVZ: if only there were globular cluster salt and pepper shakers
My boyfriend, Dan, got me cow-themed salt and pepper shakers. My friends
liteingdesignerand
lindscat83got me cow socks, a cow mug, a cow tealight holder, a string of cow lights, and a little cow stress doll, all in a cow themed box. Both Dan and said friends also went out f their way to ship the presents to me so I could open them on my birthday (as usually I get my birthday presents after my birthday, since everyone returns home to their families for the holidays). It was great fun. My family gave me the Joy of Cooking cookbook, a Nightmare Before Christmas Jack doll and beanie, and other miscellaneous stuff. I've enjoyed it all. And I was treated to Olive Garden for dinner, but we accidentally forgot to bring my sister and had to go retrieve her. Great story, really.
I really love my family and friends. This holiday season has been absolutely fantastic because of their love.
