ようやくすっかり終わった。
Finally the busy period is over! Seriously having a few events in a 2 months and 2 events back to back can kill. Not to mention that we still have some real life situation out here to handle daily.
A.C.M.E was successful, and really fun despite my problematic back. I got to meet up with many old friends and got to make some new ones like the guys from Surface, Kei and Jo-an. Amusing things happened here and there, but gladly not much hiccups. I am really happy to received compliments from the artists, stating that organisation was well-done and the atmosphere was great eventhough the place was a little cramp. Even Wee Tian Beng who came down to take a look at how his students (Comix Pandora) were doing, commented the event was well done and he would be interested to join the next one if we hold again =D

Anyway the day started really early. Met up with Kitty and Shannen on train at 7 plus am and then the rest of the guys down at sunshine plaza and went to have breakfast at the nearby Nasi Lemak place. We started wheeling stuff up to the event hall at 8 plus and was greeted by the sight of a small crowd seated in the queue area outside the hall. WOW to these people, whom some queued overnite, some I knew they got out of the house at wee hours like 5am. LOL
Think we managed to get the admin staff to open up the place for us earlier and went in to adjust some of the layout. Still it turned out to be unexpectedly cramp for the artists. Anyway, ushered the artists in to set up and luckily Pan managed to come in time to set up our booth slightly before the event open to the crowd. The whole day I was rotating between walking around checking if the artists are doing ok, spotting "unlicensed" photographers, chatting with Mura from Comix Pandora, trying to help sell at my booth and sitting at the exit trying to relax my stiff back.
Didn't really went to look at Charafest at the other end of the room though i did go over once or twice after the busy period to take a look at the merchandise... XD Thanks to Mori-aniki and Sharon who allowed me to get the last piece of Hyper Tsuna and Vongola 1st metallic portrait. WS Tourney was a world of its own lol... but it took longer than expected... I think the next time if we have it again, the systems have to be fine tuned. I was nearer to the VP Tourney, which also was great entertainment to the artists. It turned out to be a really event atmosphere booster. And because the players were so eager to compete, they ended the tourney without a break and way earlier than expected. The 2nd half of the stage activity became impromptu Touhou 12.3 demo and gaming, which attracted a lot of attention suddenly.. LOL.
Much thanks to Pan and Xiuming who helped with the booth tending.. especially Pan who was sick =0=... gomen, had to make you come all the way to town in that condition. And to the kind regulars of KKNM who helped out here and there and Kun-ge who bought us bread, water and durian puffs. Actually first time I ate durian puff... dont really like durian made products though I love durian haha.
I've taken some shots of the event, not really great I realise cos I didnt adjust the lighting setting =0=... will put up soon.
The day ended with a nice quiet steamboat dinner with the KKNM crew. We found a nice steamboat place with aircon, freeflow of drink and not bad food nearby!! Nite time went home and decided to put the heat pack on my back... and the next morning as I was stretching in bed, I heard a "pop" sound and my back suddenly feel much better!! I really must have gotten a nerve out of place or air stuck somewhere in the bones hahah.. now still a bit weak though, cant walk too much, cant carry heavy back and no strength in my upper body =0= but at least I can move more freely now.
Sunday was usual, except I was swamp with lots of books due to the accumulation of 2 weeks and a lot of release from taiwan. Now they having series guidebook frenzy == ...my pockets are getting burnt. Dinner at MOF Raffles City, where we went to try out the new menu! And it's been quite sometime since we have small nice relax dinner and chit chat =3
And last of this post is tribute to the wonderful gang who bought us goodies from Japan!!
A doujin about a fluff relationship between a wolf and 2 cats? I havent really read, but it's really cute XD
Moyashimon!!! Last year they got me a pair of Oryzae. This time round is a pair of tooth decay germs and the jiji one I'm not sure is what.

and the hi-bird coin pouch which i didnt take close up pic of was from Brenda XD.. dont think I would use it... it might just become black bird after that.
