Rawr.... I want to shoot you in the shins.

Mornings suck. Especially lately.
I don't entirely know why, but for some reason they've been sucking a bit more. Mind you, I am not a morning person. I am an 11-3 kinda person. Maybe it's waking up and having to take pills, one of which is not coated so they stick to my mouth and leave that nasty pill powder taste on the roof of my mouth and back of my throat. Ugh. Dx

Or maybe it's because for the last two weeks my nights have been pretty lame since I am basically ignored for the sake of some dumbass 2-D game about an anime with no plot and a lot of screaming. No. I'm not bitter. Play your game. It's fine.

I basically blame my craptastic moods on my pills, which is logical since I am on 30 MGs of Prednisone, a steroid with a side effect of extreme bitchiness. (I am so glad I can swear in my journal now <333).
I am pretty sure the medical term for the side effect is not extreme bitchiness but if I talk about my meds in public I get at least one person to respond with a "Oh god. Tell me about it," or some kind of affirmation that I am not the only person who suddenly gets urges to kick people in the shins for no good reason.

I started sewing the panels to my curtains yesterday. Right. I haven't told you people online; I've bought a sewing machine and plan to replace all my tattered pull blinds, which my kitties so lovingly have torn usunder, and am sewing my own two panel curtains. I am starting with the living room, which has a window of 58' by 60' inches. I picked a nice red color, almost a wine red, to accent my new couch.

I love my couch. Even if I did use school money to pay for it. >.>;; The old one was one from Spyder's youth. I mean, this couch was like.... 14 years old. Ew. And it was torn up so badly that I couldn't take it anymore. So being in the right place at the right time without the actual intention of purchasing a couch so much as just window shopping to kill time, I found a nice camel colored microsuede couch for about $499. It's huge and comfy so it's a pretty good price. My kitties love it, too.

Anyhow, I want a nice Mediteranian color to go in my kitchen and a darker, smoother color for my bedroom to keep out the light. The apartment is at a weird angle and for some reason no matter what time of day it is, our bedroom gets the most light all the time. It can be a pain when you're trying to sleep in.

I'll post pictures of my curtains and new couch when I finish this sewing project. Eventually I want to get good enough to make this outfit:

I love it! It's so cute! I'd wear that on a regular day, it's so cute.
