Yeah. As I said to kubaru_suki, it would make much, much more sense for Nataku to come stay with Goku and Sanzo than it would for him to want to drag Goku back to hell Heaven with him. All he wants is to escape - why would he voluntarily go back? And if Goku regained his memories, this would be the first thing he'd do - march up to Heaven, take off his diadem, go utterly apeshit (pun intended) on them, kill everyone and get Nataku back. At least, that's what I think he'd do. After all, Nataku's death was the beginning of the Goku/ST personality split; it would stand to reason that getting him back would begin healing Seiten Taisei's rage and bring him closer to Goku. It has to happen, or else Gaiden would be meaningless.

Thank you! I was a little worried it hadn't come through because I was running way out of time...and of course I wrote a 39! It was your comment about love spanning centuries that did it, because then I got to thinking about other kinds of love as well, and then Goku's tendency to pick up emotionally wounded strays like Konzen, 10, K, Nataku, Homura, Kougaiji, Gat, 5, 3, 8.....really. ^_^ He's something of a walking happiness therapy.
