Oooooh, lovely! A great way of looking at Sanzo, even if he would see his own self differently ;) Really like how you answered the theme, too - very different from rasphigi's contribution, but just as good! Especially loved the line If you asked which trail to take to get up a rocky mountain, even if it was a place he'd never been to before, he already knew the way., it just seems so... Sanzo-ish.

What do you mean by that?

Anyway, thank you. I'm flattered. ^^ As for the thing about the trail, well... I read it in a translation of one of the drama CDs. There was this part where Sanzo took one road, everyone else took another, and of course by the time they got there Sanzo was standing there waiting for them. Because he's just awesome that way.

I mean how everyone else sees him as being kinda awesome (if we're being honest!) and strong, but he sees himself as being very weak and unimportant. Case in point being how he questions why the others keep following him, because he has trouble believing they do it out of faith and trust in him. He has a hard time seeing his own worth as it truly stands. Kinda funny when you consider how easily he sees through others ;D

Okay, I get what you mean now. That's very true, and well... it's always easier to understand something from a third-person point of view I think. When you start thinking about how you feel about yourself, it gets complicated. Or, at least it seems that way to me.

Your icon is adorable, btw.

Yep, that's me. Actually, that was taken a few months ago and it's grown out a bit since then. I need to cut my side burns before they start looking like Sanzo's.

Somehow I think he's the type of person who wouldn't want anyone else looking like him anyway. Sort of like when two girls wear the same dress to the prom, and then they get all angry about it and start blaming each other for stealing their dress... (man, now he's really gonna be mad at me, right?)

Hahahaha, yeah the whole dress thing happened twice at my prom!! I'm sure Sanzo won't do anything now for dislike of being compared to women ;D

Hm, I don't remember that happening at my prom, but then again I didn't know many girls like that. Most of my friends were either sluts with brilliant personalities, or gay computer nerds (and most of us were in the closet back then anyway). Nobody copied my dress... but that's probably just because it wasn't very expensive.

Aw, poor Sanzo, always being compared to women because he's so pretty. Can't blame him for not liking it though, it bothers me too.
