Im back in action! I hope >_
It had been a good full week since Ayaka had gotten any sleep. The men
had them up long hours into the night training and honing their ever
increasing powers. They had learned new spells and uses for their new
found talents. It had become apperant that each of them had their own
elements and special abilities. Aeyuki seemed to govern the powers of
water, able to turn anything into ice or creat powerful bursts of water
or scalding steam. Sakura could summon the powers of the earth giving
her raw brute strenght and a fighting ability that was astounding.
Sonya had the ability to summon fire creating a firey force to be
reckond with. Ayaka looked in the mirror, her strength was wind. She
had the ability to move objects with only a whim and the ability to
creat gales of piercing wind. They were also finding out subtle powers
that seemed to be characteristic of their element. Aeyuki could read
and control minds, it seemed water is well known for its elusive
qualities. Sakura's ability was travel, she could move in an instant
and be wherever she needed to be faster than a blink of the eye, the
earth it seemed was aiding in her transport. Sonya was able to forge
materials out of seemingly thin air, a very usefull trick for making
weapons on the spot. And herself...it felt odd to go invisible, almost
like blending in with the air and flowing with it as well. Ayaka looked
in the empty mirror, she knew this trick would be very usefull indeed.

Sanzo rolled out of bed. He was hungry, a feeling he was getting used to. Normal food wasnt as filling as it used to be, but at least it was enough to sustain him. The idea of chomping into human flesh set his stomache rolling. It was mid morning by the time he got around to going downstairs. The house seemed deserted but he knew better. The girls were most likely up and around and he knew Hakkai would have breakfast ready soon. He was about to check his theory when something grabed him from behind covering his eyes. Startled he let out a quiet yelp.
"Guess who!"
He knew in an instant who it was by the voice alone. "Not now Ayaka. Im glad you've discovered how to sneak up on me but can we please get over this childish nonsense?"
"Hakkai told me to practice on you. You could use the excersice you know." She shimmered and took form releasing Sanzo from her grasp.
"Ch' I dont need excercise." He was well aware of his abilites as a half vampire and no amount of excercise was going to change any of it. Besides they needed to consentrate on the task at hand anyhow. Homura was out there somewhere, and he was certain that wherever he was the things behind the attacks would be there as well.

Li Touten sat grinning at the prostrate servent before him. He would never be able to explain the satisfaction he got from watching his servents bow to his every whim and will.
"My lord," Homura said in a somewhat wooden voice, "what is it that you desire?"
"Kill all who oppose me. You can demonsrate your loyalty by killing that girl and her patheic friends. Assemble your task force, you may commence when ready."
"It will be as you command, Master."
