Meta/discussion links?
I'm new to Saiyuki (incl. Reload & Gaiden), and newer to Saiyuki-fandom. Can people point me to where there are interesting meta posts/discussions on the themes/characters/links to the original legend?
I've read quite a bit already,* but Minekura's world is so wonderfully detailed and multi-layered that I keep coming across things I'd never considered in each new discussion I stumble across. Looking through other peoples' memories/tags/etc, I tend to come across fanfic more than meta/discussions. And while the fanfic is lovely, it's the discussion(s) I'm interested in!
And so that I'm not coming here empty handed and asking for favours from everybody else, here are links to my own thoughts/notes/commentary on re-reading Volume One:
