Though it should be noted that, coming right before the comment about his sexuality, there's no gender specification on the kanji for "beautiful women."

True. 美人 defaults to female so regularly that I translate it 'beautiful woman' by reflex. Or maybe I was thinking of Gyokumen...

Yeah, it makes sense for most translations, but in the context of Nii as a bisexual, I'd say the gender-neutral translation probably isn't inaccurate. Because Koumyou is quite beautiful as well...

立つ means "to stand" 勃つ means "to have an erection"
