Hopefully it will come back here! If not, I guess I'm buying you a new copy.

In the meantime, you could ry downloading the windows 7 release client. It's a free 1-year trial:

Needs to be on a CD tho to run dual-boot :(

and it doesn't seem fair to make you buy a new one, you didn't lose it personally :(

You just download an .iso file and then burn a disc. I did it on the laptop here, though it didn't have all the drivers :(

My laptop is about 6 years old, though, so you would probably have better luck.

What do you need it for? There may be ways to do what you want even if you don't have the cd.

At what point do we declare it lost to the warp?
It's been in international mail limbo for nearly 5 weeks now.

I had a copy of EQII from Canada take 6 weeks longer to get here than it should, because customs took an interest.

Give the Windows 7 RC a try.

Hmm, I will have to figure out how to burn an .iso, I really have no idea...

Also the site had several warnings,

Protect your PC and data. Be sure to back up your data and please don't test the RC on your primary home or business PC.

For example. Are you sure its safe? And will work with games?

It might be better just to wait another 2 weeks and see if it shows up...but i'll start the download just in case, I guess.
But I've yet to have a single package arrive or show up that went missing for a short time in Japan. They often seem to just get eaten by warp daemons :(

At this rate, I might just buy it in December when I visit Australia lol :D

To burn an iso, just open it with whatever cd/dvd burning software you are using.

http://www.imgburn.com/ is some free software for windows.

http://lifehacker.com/251758/mac-tip--how-to-burn-an-iso-or-dmg-file-to-disc is an article on how to do it with OSX (ie: Mac) - seems to be just drag-and-drop.

Hahha, i dont think a windows program will help.

Hmm, I'm using...none. I've never burnt a dvd or a CD since...2003?2002?
I'll have to see whats around for download, and find out where to buy some dvd-roms from! :)

Thomas is helping me through it, he gave me some good guildes for dualbooting windows 7
