[Gohan isn't angry, per sey. His voice is rushed when he speaks, trying not to let the shadow have too much time to speak.]

I'm not mad, Goten. I-if your shadow says anything, ignore it. It's just a trick, okay? It'll go away soon.

You can't even stand to look at him, he reminds you so much--

[CLICK. Audio stream shuts off to prevent more of that getting out.]

[Oh dear. Goten's heard that "reminds me of" before, and while he's not the brightest bulb on the tree he can figure it out. Adults always say that sort of thing when they think he's not listening.]

...I'm sorry I look like Daddy, Gohan.

[...Gohan finds it hard to look at Goten, but he's never wanted to look away. Goten is his brother, and he loves him. This stupid shadow is taking things - little things - and twisting them.

Gohan clicks the comm back on.]

[Now Gohan sounds really angry :( ]

You better shut up, you stupid faker! My brother is the best brother in the whole universe and if you keep saying nasty things about him I'm gonna beat you up until you cry!

Gohan, I'm coming! [And Goten zooms off without even bothering to turn off his comm, already searching out Gohan's ki.]

[Voice]

[FFFFFFF Goten. Gohan doesn't want him to deal with this shadow, but - that he's standing up for him is touching.]

Goten, be careful -

That little kid is more of a man than you'll ever be.

- and don't listen to it, I'm sorry.

[Gohan is actually in the flower field. He thought maybe enough light would chase the shadow away, but it doesn't seem to be working.]

[And Goten is racing through the decks looking for Gohan until he locates him. He throws himself at Gohan's waist and clings, just for a moment, then leaps back into a defensive stance.]

Where's the fake you, Gohan? I'll beat him up really good!

[Gohan turns when Goten enters, just in time to be caught in a hug.]

Hey Goten...

[The shadow curls around from where his feet are, and even with no eyes it appears to be looking at Goten.]

Damn, he really looks like your daddy, doesn't he?

[Gohan grits his teeth, reaching down to ruffle Goten's hair.]

He looks like our Dad and that's not a bad thing at all.

[Oh geez. It is Gohan's shadow saying those things. That's really creepy, and Goten latches onto Gohan's pant leg, STARING down at the shadow.]
