God Grandia III is so awesome. And it's not easy either. Earlier today I was fricking going through this place that only had two save points: One at the very beginning and one at the very end. Only the one at the beginning will restore your HP and MP. Sooooo, I walk all the way through to the end of the first screen, and think, "Well, I'll probably make it to that save point at the end of this next screen"... and I start off okay... but then half way through the screen this faggot on a lizard keeps shocking me and crap... and it would fricking stun me so none of my guys could heal. OPPS GAME OVER BECAUSE THE ENEMIES GOT TOO MANY TURNS IN A ROW THAT STUNNED MY CHARACTERS BOO HOO. They also had like 1300-1400 HP when my guys only have 500. YAY! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD You really have to use strategy in the game... in the battle sense, it's more of a strategy RPG than a typical RPG.
I proceeded to get angry, and then about an hour later, I re-played the 40 minute scenario and finally got through this time. Nothing is worse than playing for a long time, gaining lots of experience points and level... and then just having to do it all over again because of lack of save points. :( ... Even though Grandia III is pretty much littered with save points... In this certain scenario, it made you fight too many abnormally difficult guys without saving. :/ I guess if you played smart, you shouldn't have a problem... But I wasn't paying close enough attention to my character's health. You really have to heal them BEFORE they lose over half of their hit points... I guess I was just retarded. :D
But last night I came to this area with a ton of sheep just sitting around. The sheep didn't do anything... and if you enter battle with them, all they do is graze(if you kill them they give a TON of gold, I don't know why). They will get their turns, and charge up like they are going to do an attack... but they just spin around in a circle and make a funny noise instead. XD So, I decided to take a movie of me fighting the sheep... I hadn't calibrated the line-in level, so the sound is going to be a little loud, so make sure you turn down your speakers a bit when you start to watch it.
...
I let it play at the end, so the "Excellent!" (no-damage battle) victory music could play one full loop. It's a really cool tune... I love all the music in this game so far. I really want the soundtrack.
.......... Okay, I've been trying to upload it for almost an hour now, and it's only 9 megs... and it never finished. So screw it, I'll wait until I'm at school at MSU(I will have probably beaten the game by then).
