A simple moment
I rarely use this space to write anything of a simple nature, the straight forward truth. It's always in poetical code, in an intellectual form (because I'm a fag). But tonight I wanted to actually just write what the last few days have entailed. A simple list for a simple life, if you will:
Many trips to Dennys with very cool people
An hour walk through the wilderness to get to Folsom Dam to a cool little spot by the river (all thanks to Lloyd)
Climbing playgrounds all over the place
Swinging on many a swing
Stealing wonderful peaches from orchards in Orangevale (thanks to Michelle and Jessica)
And then tonight, thanks to Garet, the crazy roof climbing/jumping and pool-raiding at Bella Vista High School
All the above, in a Zen Buddhist form of living, are all that is needed for my happy life. Add in the fact that I feel incredibly healthy (quit smoking) with only a few little cravings, and I'm a happy bunny.
Now, if only . . .
