A few notes for my students

Jun 20, 2013 06:53

A reminder for my mutant psychology class that your written essays on the mutant genetics argument are due Friday. If you've been procrastinating, now's a really good time to work on that. I'm not giving anyone extra time on the assignment.
Those in my Mysteries class, your final conclusions for who you think committed the Otofuke Town Hall murder and how and why they did it are due Friday as well. We'll be starting a new mystery on Monday that takes place in Daisetsuzan National Park, and as a result, I'm considering possibly taking a class field trip out there to help everyone get a good frame of mind for it, so to speak. And also just because it would be fun to go.

Also, I apologize to everyone if I may seem irritable or stressed out over the next few days. I've been saddled with some additional responsibilities that are likely to make me feel a little on the unpleasant side, so please be patient with me.

[Screened to Kai-kun]

I really do hope you're pleased with yourself. You've just gotten to this school and are already making a large mess of things, it would seem. As there's a man who would like to quite literally kill you if he knew that you were responsible for the damage to his car and he's now having to lock himself away so that he doesn't go into a violent rage and destroy the school and the entire staff and student body with it. It's that fact alone that I didn't tell him you were the culprit and ended up lying to keep him from hunting you down and keeping his promise to beat you to death with your own limbs...something I'm more than certain he can accomplish. Now, that doesn't mean I don't understand why you chose to do this, but putting your own life in danger is hardly the best way to go about trying to get revenge for your friend, which I assume is what you're trying to do. I'm sure Chinen-kun wouldn't be happy if he ended up losing you, though, whether it was done for his sake or not. I'm not happy with Tsuge-sensei in the least for what he did to Chinen-kun, but he will return to full health soon enough. Neither he nor your family can get another of you if Tsuge-sensei comes after you, though. ...And I wouldn't be able to get my own friend back after he's incarcerated for your murder. Please keep that all in mind next time you decide to do something potentially suicidal again.
That said, just because you are getting away with your body intact does not mean you are going without punishment at all. I expect to see you in my office tomorrow afternoon after your classes. I'll decide then what I'm going to do about you. ...Also, in the future, Kai-kun? If you have plans to misbehave, take a hint from our other trouble-makers and learn to cover your tracks a little better so that the teacher with psychometery can't figure out you're responsible.

[OOC: I have no clue what part of Hokkaido they're supposed to be located in, but since Daisetsuzan is smack dab in the middle of prefecture, should be close to the same distance getting there no matter where they are, I guess. >>]
