Be careful what you wish for?
So I have this fanfiction series I write called "Healing Touch", so named because I write it when I'm sick or sore or whatever as a way to migrate my misery onto my characters.
The next chapter calls for an injury at a time when I'm feeling great, good enough to do cartwheels down the street if I so wanted. But eh, I have enough personal injury experinces to last a lifetime and write three novels if I wanted so no big...
...except apparently the fates have decided otherwise and I woke up this morning with severe hip pain that is currently shooting up and down my leg. Not exactly conductive to writing as I can barely stand to sit here without squirming off the bed.
