I have to answer the following questions about the Sherlock Holmes, Mists of Avalon and Kim Possible fandoms:
1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?
2. Do you think you’ll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
3. Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?
4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
5. Do you think more people should get into this fandom?
Sherlock Holmes
1. …I don’t rightly remember. It seems like I’ve been interested in Sherlock Holmes since I first knew what the stories were. It’s harder to find the books then I thought, however, as I prefer them in hard backed editions.
2. I’ll always have a hand in the Holmes world, though, like always, I’ll stay on the outskirts.
3. Hound of Baskervilles and The Red-Headed League.
4. A bit…frankly most of the Holmes fandom scares the ever living life out of me and considering I survived the HP fandom, that’s saying something. I’ve written two fanfictions relating to Holmes however.
5. Most assuredly. The more people who enjoy the classics, the more they live on forever, between generations.
Mists of Avalon
1. This book was recommended to me during my King Arthur obsession and the book is one of the last gifts my father gave to me. I remember reading it non-stop for two weeks, including in classes in High School.
2. I’ve more or less moved on. I still however visit the book, but anything else…na. I think the crappy made for tv movie signaled the end for me.
3. The entire book is my favorite, but the scenes dealing with Morgraine’s relationships are of the most value to me.
4. Not anymore, no.
5. I think anyone who has an interest in King Arthur, strong female roles, or anyone who likes paganistic fantasy should at least give this a try.
Kim Possible
1. Actually, it was someone bitching about the show that got me interested in it. The storyline was simular to something a friend had created and she whined to me about the show so I checked it out…and kinda fell in love.
2. I left the fandom a year ago…accidently missing the last season of the show because I thought it was over already…Disney pulled a fast one on me. *pouts*
3. A Sitch in Time and So the Drama movies
4. I did…and lost a fanfiction.net account because of it. Apparently Disney fans don’t accept a more…grown-up view point. Like oral sex.
5. If you like modern Disney and want some mindless fun..go for it. Shego rules!
