Apparently, I do my best writing right when I get home from work. Had a lot of time this morning and in the early afternoon to write. Then Madison came home from school and Tommy's cousin came to play and it was havoc. Then I got into watching TV for a bit and it's only in the last hour that I caught my groove and got myself to a good place that I can stop. I'm almost a day ahead.
I'm doing NaNo differently this year. I have this program called Scrivener [www.literatureandlattes.com] and it helps organize what you want to write and how you tell your story. I'm realizing that if I start off with one point of the story and just go with that point as much as I can, it makes keeping some of the smaller details in my head easier to keep track of and it's just one less thing I would have to worry about. Who knew organization would be so beneficial?
So yeah . 4515 words. And more to come tomorrow. Huzzah!
