A World Cup Full Of Rain...

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!

I've been watching World Cup Soccer in Spanish most of the weekend.  It's the coolest thing in the world how different countries represent themselves - with all the face painting and right now, I'm watching the Australia v. Japan match, and all the Australian fans are wearing yellow and some of them had huge inflatable kangaroos and were waving them around.  The Japanese fans are waving fans [the kind you use to stay cool].  I can't wait to see the American fans.  That game is coming on in an hour or so.

I've downloaded a jillion copies of the 'Ole ole ole ole' song.  You know, that song in the Heineken commercials with all of the different soccer fans in it?  On one of the forums I'm a part of, we're all divided up into Nations, and we've got a soccer tournament going on.  I didn't make the team, but I get to be a soccer hooligan.  This means I get to paint my face in our national colors [blue and white in this case] and be all hooligany without throwing things and being truly evil.

Stupid Australia - they foul the poor little Japanese guys a lot.  ><

Anyway, not much going on here.  I made tacos last night *points to last entry* and I watched soccer and I watched Dallas hand Miami their ass.  NYAH, ERIC!  And no, you can't jump back on the Dirk bandwagon anymore.

HIS NAME IS DIRK!  FROM GERMANY!

Dammit, Australia just scored again!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!

God, how I love soccer in Spanish.  And oh, that was a pretty goal!  It ricocheted off of the goal post and in.  No way that goalie could have defended it.

Shit!  I get up to get Maddie a cup of milk with her breakfast and I come back to

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!

Poor Japanese team...

Today I will...

and watch soccer.

I love how the captains trade jerseys at the end of the game.  That's so cool.

Spanish TV is my new best friend.  I only wish it had subtitles in English.  Then again, that's prolly me from way too many years of watching annie-may subtitled.  *chuckle*  Anyway, I've got cheese dip, the last beer in the house, a rainy day, and a head full of ideas ahead of me.

Final note on soccer:  Completely fuckin stupid that neither ABC nor the big ESPN is covering the US v. Czech [it took me 3 times to spell that right] Republic.  The game is on ESPN 2.  Screw them.  *skips over to Univision*

stuff, writing
