Title: Fate

Summary: Fate at first meeting.
Author's notes: I know this is wrong, I do, but they are just so freaking adorable together.
When he enters the room, Takumi doesn't take much notice of him other than he being another actor cast in one of the many roles of the next tennis musical. He is reporting to work just like Takumi, meeting some fresh new faces, and perhaps seeing a few familiar ones as well.
What Takumi does notice is that he has brown hair, and brown eyes, just like the rest of them (to a degree), except that there is a sweet quality to the youth’s eyes, a sparkle, that Takumi chocks up to the boy’s obvious innocent age. The boy looks like he is the youngest one there, even if it is barely by a couple years, and Takumi wonders briefly how a kid his age received whatever role he has.
When Takumi learns the kid will be portraying his own character's stage partner, Takumi becomes a little more interested. After all, their performances will affect each other's, thus it is best to get to know each other, and hopefully like each other, for the show’s sake and their own.
Aoyagi Ruito is his name Takumi learns when the teen takes the initiative and approaches to make introductions. Takumi smiles genially, and introduces himself with a slight bow.
"Saito Takumi."
The teen returns the bow, and when he stands up straight there is a wide smile splitting his face, wide enough to cause his nose to crinkle in a way that is cute, and his eyes express the excitement the teen is barely managing to keep under wraps.
"Takumi-san," Aoyagi says in return, and it is in that moment, in that split second, by one simple and seemingly innocent gesture, that Takumi realizes his own doomed fate.
