(no subject)
I've had a very slow start this morning. It felt like I took sleeping pills last night and was hung over from them. I don't know why I felt so odd. I just couldn't seem to get going. Still I feel like I could go back to sleep, but I can't, stuff needs done.
B. chatted with me about my grandson while I got my morning. He's a nice guy. My dad use to work with him. K. was there. It seems we're always running into each other lately since school has started and we both take kids to school and now it seems we're always meeting up at the same convenience store where I always get my coffee. He always looks at me with that look of interest, always has. He's quite a good looking guy. I don't like how I feel nervous and shy around him though. Strange.
Yesterday I made chili in a crockpot. The first time doing so and I'm impressed. I believe I'll start making it that way from now on. Maybe start using the crockpot more often for other things too. I'll have to look up some good recipes.
This Christmas we've decided that our family dinner will be Mexican themed. Yummy! We'll make several different dishes and have the dinner here at my house. Seems all the holidays are spent here. It know it will be a good time and I am looking forward to it. :)
