(no subject)
So I did it!
Today I paid £498 to my now landlord.
I move in on Sunday.
I'm so excited and happy. But also still wary as to whether I'm doing the right thing. Now I have to work out how to minimalise 23 years worth of belongings to fit into a room smaller than the one I have at the moment. As the parents have decided that anything I leave gets chucked.
Nice of them.
I think I am making the right decision.
Even more so as Mum just came in and asked me.. "Honestly how many points do you have on your license?" So I told her 6 and we discussed my recent speeding fine. Then she asked me why I was doing 39mph anyway. Except at no time had I mentioned how fast I had been going. So yeah, she is *still* going through my stuff.
And Dad is going on and on about everything. I'm taking it all with a huge smile though because I know... just 3 more nights and I'm out :o)
