A pretty happening happening
So today I get a phone call from Jeremy. Apparently there was an interchange of opinions at the coffeeshop today, and it went something like this:
Guy: (looking at the fliers for our concert next week) Is this your band?
Jeremy: Yeah, we're really looking forward to this show. It's our album release show.
Guy: Do you have any albums for sale?
Jeremy: No, unfortunately. They're being printed right now, we'll have them in about 5 days.
Guy: Do you have a demo I can hear?
Jeremy: Yeah, definitely. (Plays the demo over the coffeeshop stereo)
Guy: (Really digging it) Wow, I really like this. You know, I work for Commonwealth Records. I'd like to have a meeting with you guys sometime. Maybe work out a deal or something.
Jeremy: Great, well come to our show this Thursday.
I'm not going to over-analyze this, but I'm DEFINITELY not going to under-analyze it either.
Speaking of that, we're having our very last show of the summer one week from today, Thursday August 21. You'll be able to buy our album there too, if you want it. I'd really like to see you guys if you came.
