Today when Nathan, Nathaniel, and I were walking into L. L. Bean at about 5:45 to go to work, we saw someone who looked remarkably like Will Arnett (GOB from Arrested Development, the asshole magician brother). We were talking about it as we walked into the break room, discussing whether it was really him or not. Then our friend Dan walks in and just says, "Do you guys know Arrested Development?" and we just shouted "I KNOW!!!"
So we walked out to go to the truck loading dock, and we all took a really good long look. He was at the cash register. I walked by him "to go to the water fountain", and tried to get a good look to make sure it was him. He kind of coughed and held his fist in front of his face, I'm sure he knew I was staring at him.
We were determined to figure out if it was him. Finally at about 6:30, long after he had checked out and left, we asked the cashier if he paid with credit card. She told us that he did, and that it was him.
And we were worried about not having anything to talk about while opening boxes for 7 hours.
Apparently he lives in Burlington, because that's where his wife, Amy Poehler, is from. Badass. I wish we had talked to him. Or done the chicken dance.
