One of the great things about fandom is the ability to play with 'verses and the crossover potential. Particularly with other fandoms that our actors star in. So, as the icon hints at - today we have recs where Supernatural crosses with the Dark Angel universe.

You don't brake for ghosts on an icy road, Sam's rational brain is saying, sort of like a normal person thinks Don't swerve around squirrels, it's too dangerous and not worth it.
A really brilliant collection of ficlets that sadly never really finish, however it's not cliffhangered so I'm still reccing it. Post Supernatural Sam finds an escaped transgenic boy who starts travelling with him. Said boy bears a remarkable resemblance to Sam's brother. They're sweet and Sam really tries at this incredibly dysfunctional relationship.

He should have left this city the minute he walked into Crash and saw the double of his brother. Sam-centric, crossover with Dark Angel.
This fic is also part of a whole 'verse. I'm a sucker for close/mistaken identity fics where Sam finds out about Manticore after Dean has gone. Max is incredibly distrustful. Alec is intrigued.

Or had he? Here we have Alec, Max and everyone's favourite transgenics fighting with Sam Winchester against Ames White who has conveniently mistaken Dean for Alec. Dean is unimpressed. Lots of action and some great characterisation.
