*Sadness* Guys come baaaaaaaa~ack!

They kind of end up like the leftover pair don't they? I really like them together, it's just they are also the two most plausibly straight guys on the show! (Except I kind of like Jabu to end up with Saori, because I feel bad for the poor, ignored other Bronzies! Also, Jabu is kind of ridiculous about Saori, and I find it sweet in his way.) Lol, yeah Shiryu's kinda zen monklike sometimes. And it's kind of sad to ruin such pure love with sexuality, as if two people have to be doing it to be so devoted to eachother!

Ikki/Shaka <3

Looooooooooooong distance psychic sex, w00t. Except isn't it Aldebaran that visits Mu in Jamir (or am I just hallucinating again)? And I did read this really hot and sweet Mu/Shiryu one-off fic about Shiryu's stay in Jamir, and how he was able to "recover" so quickly. XD

I did not know that! I'm not usually the one to go for autographs and panels and such, but for him I'll make an exception! It helps that he was in Ranma as well, and sound directed Yu-Gi-OH!, which was my first anime fandom and gateway drug when I was but a wee literary nerd! I have to dress as Shun when I meet him though. I hope he's there on Friday, but the glory of having a hotel right across the way is costume quick-changes! I wish I'd decided to do my Armor this year instead of just Casual Haulin' Box.

Please, please, pleeeeeeeeeease bring some sort of Shaka? *beg* I'd love to see it. Even if you did a "casual" like me, where I have my normal clothes, chain, and box: You could wear the clasped exomie (the tunic toga...thing) and have your prayer beads (and if you made a box already, or had some lotus flowers or something?). Although if I can make my box in two weeks, you can probably fix up the armor you told me had pride of place (if a bit dusty) on your piano. If it's too bulky and hot for a full day of wear, maybe you could change partway through the day? I do that if my stuff gets too annoying. Although it will be a LOT easier this year because I won't have to walk halfway around the Harbour this time!

Think about it? I have to go figure out a good design for the drawing I'm gonna ask Mitsuya-san to sign!

Oh yeah we weren't even like going to try to make them doing anything sexual or anything. Just trying to get them to kiss or confess proved impossible. XD It really is more of an innocent love so I think that's why. lol

LOL Yeah true. XD; But I was mostly referring to after Mu comes back or anything before he leaves as I always figured he was around for at least some time before he went off. And yeah a lot of people do pair him with Aldebaran as they're really good friends but I'm not a big fan of that pairing. Because they're not pretty together I see them just as good friends and nothing more. I saw Mu and Shaka more with the fact that Shaka goes to Mu for help to get him and Ikki back after their fight. And then much later in the Hades Arc when Mu is the one that understands that Shaka has to fight alone and is crying over him the most out of everyone and keeps Shaka's rosary. And then that great scene near the end of Hades where Mu hands Shaka his rosary back. Just that smile between them. ^_~ Other than that it's really just making it up. lol

LOL Ya know despite Shiryu being such a celibate like character...he used to joke that he was the whore of the bronze saints. 'Cause like each bronze has a gold saint they share some connection with through some event or another. You've got Hyoga and Camus due to the student/teacher thing. Ikki and Shaka. Seiya and Aiolia (and even though he's dead Aiolios too there mostly due to the Sagitarius armor thing). Shun...well Shun actually doesn't quite have the same connection but he does get Aldebaran's blood. Can't say Aphrodite as they never really saw eye-to-eye like the others did. And then you have Shiryu. Who gets Dohko, Shura, and Mu. XD;

I know~! I was spazzing when I found out. It just recently got announced and my friend Ray who's an even bigger Saint Seiya dork than I am pointed it out. And when I was trying to figure out what to get signed (as I mostly just have figurines) he was like "you should get your gold cloth signed!" and I was like "pffft that thing is so old" so I don't know about signing as I don't think there's a good place to sign it but I may at least look at it and see if its wearable at all. It has about 2 and a half years since I even touched it other than the occasional dusting. ^^;; Last time I wore it was AnimeUSA 2007. But yeah I figure if nothing else I can at least make Shaka's Buddhist robe type outfit...if I can figure out how exactly it works. XD I'm bad at wrap-like outfits.

Oh and lol its not really so much that the costume itself is a pain. Its more the fact that I'm bringing 3 other big obnoxious costumes as is plus at least 2 other costumes. >>;; So its more an issue of do I have enough room for everything and will I have time to wear it with all I'm doing already? So it also depends on when during the con his events are. Hoping for Friday as well as my Saturday is pretty crazy. So if I do I'd only be wearing it for like the autograph session and/or panel. Probably have him sign one of the DVDs. lol The one with Shaka on the cover of course. XD As all my Shaka figures are too small (though I do have a lot of them).

And that's so cool that you're going to draw something for him to sign. ^.^ I wish I could draw!

It is so innocent and transcendent that you can't really mess with it, can you? It doesn't help that they'd probably confuse themselves trying to confess, considering how many types of attachment they have to eachother.

Oh gods yes! So lovely! (It's been a while since I've seen the lot, because I had all the stuff on my old computer, which is currently giving me the stone cold Blue Screen of Death from its dusty corner in my basement.) All the yaoi relationships are us making stuff up, anyway. Actually a lot of even het relationships are fans making stuff up in shonen manga! Mmm, see, I really like the opposite-body-type couples, and Aldebaran hits quite a few of my buttons, even if I can never do him justice.

MMMmmm, I just had an image of whore!Shiryu surrounded... *wicked grin* Or better yet, Bronzie indoctrination to Sanctuary orgy? >XD I'd say poor Shun, having no connection, but, well, there are extenuating circumstances there. And Aphrodite's just jealous!

Ah, I know that bulky feeling. We only have so much room with seven people in our VW Bus, with three or four cosplayers in that group! I can't find good reference for the robelike outfit right now. I pretty much drape all the time (nothing is more comfortable than a toga or himaton in the summer!), maybe I could help figure it, or at least a convincingly mimic it?

So excited, no idea! I do have the Holy Comfort Sacred Saga artbook, but out of almost a decade of instinct I don't want to hurt it... I also kind of want to draw something, because it's tradition in my pack to get autographs on our art. I mean, I'm not going to turn around and sell it, so it doesn't need to be on nice official stuff. It will be like a sort of...offering of my effort as a fan combined with some validation I suppose; it's so hard to find the right word from someone who worked on the original project. A symbol, if you will.

Ya know, I never realized I didn't reply back to this. XD;

Oh god, that's a wonderful yet awful thought. XD; Bronzie Indoctrination indeed. Haha!

The schedule is out btw and I'm a bit annoyed at the times. His panel is Friday at 3pm which isn't that bad but his autograph session is 10am on Sat. n___n Which sucks as a I have a photoshoot for a different series at that time. I mean I'll still get the autograph either way but kinda wondering if it'd make more sense to wear that costume and go to the shoot right afterwards. But either way, the armor is out. If I did still do Shaka, it'd be the robes if I have time and at least that would be easy to change in and out of quickly if need be.

Thing is I can't seem to find any images of it. n_n; And I don't remember what episode you actually see him in them. Duuur. I just remember it was like red I think? Though it would be cool to do at some point. I have a friend who had a lotus candle thingy for one of her costumes I may ask to borrow if I do do it.

(Don't have much time to reply fully, getting ready for the con.)

I've been so busy with work, and fixing this up.

I don't know if you've already got them together, but I can talk you through casual Shaka. The robes are so easy, you could make them in about an hour, and most of that would be shopping time. As close as I can tell, it's somewhat similar to a sari, but not quite as complicated. First you need some loose, flowy pants. Silky pajama pants or lightweight linen/cotton summer pants in a Shaka-y colour (have no reference, so I would assume a purple or orangey gold). For the sash, you also a length of fabric that is about 2-3 yards long and at least 20 inches wide. A regular sash or a half of a sheet will work fine. You will also need a length of rope or cording for the belt, a handful of safety pins, and maybe a small gold brooch.

1.) Put on the pants, and a white or similar coloured tank top.
2.) Drape the sash cloth over your left shoulder at the halfway point.
3.)Gather the fabric at you shoulder so that it is narrow, and either pin it with the brooch , or tie it with a short length of string.
4.) Pull the cloth across to your right hip, letting it spread wide across your torso. Pin it together there from the inside, about 1-2 inches in. Maybe pin it together about 5 inches higher, and at the rib line if you like.
5.) Tie the cord acting as your belt around you waist, letting the ends drape down for a foot at least on the right.
6.) If you want that wrap-shoe look that a lot of the characters seem to have, get ribbon in the same colour as your sandals, and wrap it around you legs.
7.) Apply bindi and wig.
8.) Grab your prayer beads, and go!

I'll see you at the con!
