[NEW SAINT SEIYA MANGA ] LOST CANVAS Chapter 6
Here's the new chapter of Lost Canvas that came out yesterday! :D
# LOST CANVAS Chapter 6.
War has begun! *____*
The chapter starts with Aron/Alone, who had rushed into the Cathedral, finding himself face to face with a painting of Hades surrounded by the dead of underworld...and sporting the same face than Aron himself.
Little note: Until now, I had been translating it as "Monastery" because I didn't think they really meant there was a cathedral in the middle of the forest (they kept mentioning the forest and all, so it seemed impossible, considering what Cathedrals are for and all).... but as it turns out it truly is a cathedral, despite being in the middle of the woods, I shall just go and use the term Cathedral, since it's the proper one. XD; *lol*
Horrified by the painting, Aron backs off from it, perhaps thinking of running, but Hypnos holds him from behind and tells him he musn't avert his eyes from it, and that the image depicted in the painting is his true nature.
He then points to the right and goes "Look...". We see then the little orphanage where Aron etc. lived. (be it an illusion or a dream created by Hypnos, since the place appears in the middle of the Cathedral). But when Aron/Alone walks into the place, he finds all the other kids scattered on the ground, dead in puddles of their own blood, and starts screaming. As he rushes towards them, Pandora smiles and tells him "You painted a picture of them three days ago, haven't you? You put your love into it... That is why they are now dead."
Aron breaks apart. It is then that Hypnos deals him the last blow. Pointing to the painting of Hades, he tells Aron to not worry, since death is salvation itself. Aron sees the kids from the orphanage all happy and smiling, surrounding Hades in the painting.
"Never more will they feel hunger...never more will they tremble with fear for their future..."
Stretching his hand towards the picture, Aron sees Hades stretching towards him as well.
"Yes...death is salvation.... and I..."
"I am Hades, the lord of the Underworld and ruler of Death."
Meanwhile, in Sanctuary, Athena is watching the flow of the stars in the sky, from the veranda of her private chambers. (*___* she grew up a lot in the past two years and so did her chest ♥ XD; *lol*)
The stars are flowing fast...
A noise startles her, and it is Tenma, who somehow managed to sneak all the way there. It seems he has tried to see her without much success during the past 2 years, ever since the attack of Sanctuary by Worm Raimi.
She asks him how he managed to get there, since it's Athena's private chambers and far from being an easily accessible place. He laughs saying it's a secret. (There are secret pathways in Sanctuary, so maybe he discovered one?)
She smiles gently and says that he's always doing crazy things.
They talk about their past, and about how Aron was always so gentle and would never harm anyone, so Sasha protected him, and Tenma protected them both (we see a lovely flashback of Sasha protecting Aron, while Tenma beats the crap out of some kid in front of them. XD *lol*)
Tenma mentions that the place where the specters are gathering is near their village, and worries about whether Aron will be safe.
Athena looks sad for a moment, and then all of a sudden she feels something terrible: Hades has awakened!!
With her giant statue behind her, Athena points forward with her scepter and declares: The Holy War has begun!!

We're now at a normal rythm, 20 pages per week. I'm guessing it will stay that way, and that's the normal size for weekly episodes in manga magazines. (The giant episodes of 50 pages we've had at the beginning were most certainly drawn in advance, as it is pretty much impossible to do that many in one week).

Also, can't wait to see Sasha in the AThena Cloth! *__________* (In Hades Sanctuary episodes, Shion had said that the last time the Athena Cloth was used was 243 years ago.....which means Sasha wore it! *___*)
