Irony in Juxtaposition.
I got my course list! I thought I was going to have to officially register during orientation week, but apparently I'm all signed up and everything. Go figure! Anyway, here is the list; not, I'm sure, as though anyone is interested, but I'm excited so I'm going to go on and on about it.
Mon/Wed:
10:35am-11:50am: INTERMEDIATE FRENCH I
1:10pm-2:25pm: STUDIES: LANGUAGE & LITERATURE (This is my First Year Seminar, but I can't figure out which one I got into. I hope it's the Women's Studies one, but Legacy of the Mediterranean would not be bad either.)
Tues/Thurs:
9:10am-10:25am: INTRO TO PSYCH (I don't really want to take this course but it is a prerequisite for Behavioral Neuroscience, which I really want to take. Because I'm weird.)
1:10pm-2:25pm: LITERATURE & EMPIRE (19th Century Russian Literature and its relation to the Empire. OMG IM SO EXCITED GUYS)
And I'm not a slacker for only taking four courses; the Barnard people tell us to only take four and we have to, like, beg them to get a fifth. Let us just say I am not complaining.

In other news, Doctor Who actually rules my life. I think I would be a little ashamed to admit this to my RL friends, but I think anyone reading this on LJ would at least not disown me to learn this:
I went into NYC with a friend on Saturday and one of the places we went was the store Forbidden Planet. Let us just say I was an embarrassment and a disgrace and should never be allowed in public ever again. It is fortunate that my friend was not only understanding (she is a hardcore Trekkie, though not as vocal about it as I am about Doctor Who), she was also good enough to hold my wallet while we were in the shop.
Ahaha, I am so pathetic. Torchwood comes out on DVD January 8th and I don't know whether I can wait that long to find out what happens! What should I do guys? I NEED TO SEE THE FINAL TWO EPISODES!!! Don't be an enabler. It's bad.

I find it really ironic that the two subjects in this post are College Courses and Me Being A Total Nerd To An Absolutely Embarrassing Degree.
